Ioan Gruffudd & Wife Bianca Wallace Share Surprise Baby News In Major Relationship Update
Ioan Gruffudd celebrated Father’s Day in a big way this weekend, announcing that he’s expecting his first child with wife Bianca Wallace.
The Fantastic Four actor took to Instagram to share the news on June 14, and in the photo, he can be seen kneeling down to kiss his new wife’s baby bump. “Baby Gruffudd poppin’ out to say hello!” Wallace wrote in the caption of the joint post.

The reveal comes after the couple tied the knot several months ago, news which they also shared on Instagram on April 25. The footage in the post — which Wallace captioned, “Marriage now, wedding later” — shows what appears to be an intimate ceremony. The actors’ engagement lasted a little over a year after Wallace said “yes” to Gruffudd’s proposal in January 2024. The pair began dating in July 2021.
It wasn’t the first time Gruffudd said “I do” — the 51-year-old actor married Alice Evans in 2007 after meeting each other on the set of 102 Dalmatians seven years prior. According to Us Weekly, Evans wrote in a January 2021 tweet that Gruffudd left her after 13 years of marriage, though the post has since been deleted. They share two children: Ella, 15, and Elsie, 11.
Their divorce was finalized in 2023 following a lengthy legal battle. The Titanic star obtained a three-year domestic violence restraining order against Evans in August 2022; shortly after, then-13-year-old Ella filed for a restraining order against her father and Wallace in June 2023.
According to The Sun, a source said, “Alice will be absolutely fuming over [Gruffudd and Wallace’s pregnancy announcement]. She’s made no secret of the fact she’s destitute looking after the two kids, so to have him rub how well he’s doing in her face is a real gut-punch.”
