When Is Casa Amor on ‘Love Island USA’ Season 7? Everything We Know

Love Island USA sure knows how to keep its contestants on their toes.

In Season 7’s latest episode, we saw the biggest shakeup so far: Instead of leaving it in the hands of the Islanders, the public voted for who the new bombshells should couple up with. Once the new pairs were formed, the remaining contestants had to decide which of those booted out of their original couples — Taylor, Charlie, or Huda — should go home. Tears were shed and a desperate Islander pleaded their case to stay, making it an episode for the books. (Click here to find out who’s left the villa so far.)

While we’re feeling well-fed after Episode 12, we’re still hungry for more drama. In other words, we need Casa Amor to happen ASAP. If you’re wondering when the show will introduce its signature twist, keep reading to find out everything we know.

What is Casa Amor?

If you’re tuning into Love Island USA for the first time this season, you may not know what Casa Amor is exactly. In that case, let us enlighten you: It’s a huge twist that usually occurs about halfway through the season. Akin to Temptation Island, the show splits up existing couples, moving one half of the Islanders to a second villa called — you guessed it — Casa Amor.

There, they find a slew of new singles, who test the original Islanders’ loyalty to their partners. One villa has the OG men, who are introduced to six new women, and the reverse is true for the second villa.

Casa Amor has been happening since Season 2. It typically lasts for a few days and ends with a recoupling ceremony, which is when we find out how strong the Islanders’ relationships really are. (Spoiler alert: A fair amount of them don’t make it past Casa Amor.)

When is Love Island USA Season 7’s Casa Amor episodes?

The show hasn’t confirmed when exactly the Season 7 Casa Amor episodes will take place, but we have a decent idea based on past seasons. In Season 2, Casa Amor was only in Episode 14, but they upped it by a few episodes in Season 3, which saw the twist in Episodes 14 and 15.

When Love Island USA jumped from CBS to Peacock, the show extended Casa Amor in Season 4 (Episode 19 through 22) and Season 5 (Episode 19 through 23). Last but not least, Season 6 saw Casa Amor run from Episodes 21 to 22.

We’re guessing here, but we’d wager we have to wait a few more episodes for Season 7’s Casa Amor. It’ll likely happen around the 20-episode mark.

How long will Season 7’s Casa Amor last? Well, it probably depends on how much drama goes down once the villa swap takes place. When the Love Island USA producers decide they’ve gotten enough material, that’s probably when they’ll decide to call it. Anything can happen when it’s Casa Amor time, so brace yourselves now.
