On the heels of the news that she’s set to return full-time to Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Kelli Giddish made a rare red carpet appearance with her husband, Beau Richards.

The couple took their date night to the Tribeca Film Festival on June 13. Giddish was attending the premiere of My Mom Jayne in support of SVU costar Mariska Hargitay. The documentary, which delves into the life of Hargitay’s late mother, Jayne Mansfield, is also her feature film directorial debut.

“Mariska has done an exquisite film,” the actress, who reprises her role as Amanda Rollins in the upcoming 27th season of the procedural drama, wrote on Instagram. “Seeing her celebrate and celebrating this journey at last night’s @tribecafilmfestival was unforgettable.”

Giddish’s onscreen husband, Peter Scanavino, was also among the ranks of SVU actors in attendance, which included Ice-T and Chris Meloni. Her real-life husband remained by her side throughout the night. Giddish included another less-formal photo of Richards pressing a kiss to her head in her post celebrating the film.

Hargitay’s film isn’t all Giddish has had to celebrate lately. The actress also recently marked her husband’s birthday by sharing a photo of Richards with their son, Oldie, on June 7. “What a man you are. What a man. Kindness, patience, strength and steady love. ❤️ @botorious you deserve alllll the sweet things!” she wrote in her caption.

Giddish’s family also includes 9-year-old Ludo and 6-year-old Charlie, whom the SVU star shares with ex-husband Lawrence Faulborn. They divorced in 2018 after three years of marriage. Giddish tied the knot with Richards in November 2021, and she gave birth to Oldie in June 2023. The whole family can be seen smiling in Giddish’s latest Instagram post.

The actress, who has played Amanda Rollins on SVU since Season 13, is coming back to the NBC procedural as a series regular for the upcoming 27th season. She left the series in the middle of Season 24, but she has made guest appearances in the past two seasons. With Rollins back in the fold for good, expect more Rollins and Carisi goodness in Season 27!
