‘Laguna Beach’ Star Reveals Secret Nick Carter Hookup
The stars of Laguna Beach skyrocketed to fame when they were just teenagers, which afforded them opportunities that many others their age never got to have. One of those was being thrust into the world of celebrity, which provided chances to (ahem) mingle with famous faces.
When Kristin Cavallari hosted her podcast tour earlier this year, she welcomed several Laguna Beach stars on stage at her Chicago show, and asked them if they’d ever hooked up with any celebrities. One of the ladies had a juicy story to tell about a night with Nick Carter.
The woman in question was Alex Murrel, who was involved in a love triangle with Jason Wahler and Jessica Smith during Season 2. Although the confession was made months ago, it just came to light when Cavallari dropped the entire Laguna Beach reunion conversation on her Let’s Be Honest podcast.

“It’s probably all what you’d imagine it to be,” Murrel admitted, which prompted Cavallari to ask, “Like, dirty? Like, rough and dirty?” Alex Hooser jumped in to explain, “It was during that stage, that not-so-snatched stage for him.”
Murrel, who’s now married with three kids, didn’t specify when this went down, but she revealed she also had another celebrity hookup under her belt: Pauly Shore, who’s several years older than her. The kiss happened at a club. “I was, like, making out with Pauly Shore, and that was so bad. So bad,” she shared.

She acknowledged that her time in L.A. was “dark days” and fed into the audience’s shocked reaction. “I was so embarrassed,” she continued. “I think because he ripped me off. He was like, ‘Do you even know what you’re doing? This is, like, so embarrassing.’ I didn’t even know who he was. That was the worst part.”
“You guys, I was so embarrassed. I think because he ripped me off. He was like, ‘Do you even know what you’re doing? This is like so embarrassing’.” She continued, “I didn’t even know who he was, that was the worst part!”
