‘American Idol’ Winner Iam Tongi & Girlfriend Share Relationship Update With New Photos
American Idol Season 21 winner Iam Tongi is still head over heels in love with his girlfriend, Leah, and the feeling is mutual. In a joint post, Tongi and his love gave a glimpse into their private relationship.
“A whole lot of life with the one I love,” Leah captioned the carousel of photos. Tongi commented, “I love you so much babe,” to which Leah replied, “I love you most.”
Leah shared 20 photos on Instagram that included sweet photos of their adventures together. In one photo, Tongi lay on the beach after writing “Leah” in the sand. The couple also posted adorable PDA moments.
Tongi and his girlfriend tend to keep their relationship out of the public eye, but they’ll occasionally give an update to their followers. On December 3, 2024, they celebrated their one-year anniversary. “1 year ago I sure did force him to make me his girlfriend ☺️ happy anniversary babe , I love you forever more,” Leah captioned her anniversary post.

The singer has upcoming tour dates across the United States through October 2025. Tongi also opened for American Idol judge Luke Bryan at his Fort Myers show.
He recently had his song “Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride” featured in the live-action Lilo & Stitch movie. He also dropped his latest single “Unbreak My Heart” in June 2025.
Tongi has also made the move to Tennessee. “I moved out to Memphis, so I’ve been working out, writing, recording, and just been busy — but in a different way,” he told People. He’s currently working on an album. “I’m inspired by a lot of soul. I love Al Green. Al Green is one of my favorite singers, so I’m excited for that [single],” he added.
In addition to his music, the “Why Kiki?” singer is also on a health journey. He’s lost 115 pounds after “working on myself” and “trying to stay healthy.”
