The Jasmine and Gino era is officially over. 90 Day Fiancé‘s Jasmine Pineda has filed for divorce from estranged ex Gino Palazzolo. The former couple is currently starring in 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9, and they’ve been opening up about their breakup, including Jasmine’s pregnancy with another man, as well as Gino’s marriage fraud and deportation threats. So, what does divorce mean for Gino and Jasmine, given all the complications surrounding their situation?

Are Jasmine and Gino still together?
No, Jasmine and Gino are no longer together. Jasmine filed for divorce in August, according to TMZ. Jasmine was reportedly unable to serve Gino divorce papers in Michigan despite multiple attempts, so she published an article in Florida newspaper to announce their split. (Jasmine lives in Florida.)
The outlet reached out to Gino’s lawyer, Thomas Quartz, who said Gino filed for divorce first in Michigan. The lawyer also claimed Jasmine owes Gino money.
It’s no secret that Jasmine and Gino had tension throughout their relationship, caused by “intimacy issues.” During her time on The Last Resort, Jasmine learned about the concept of ethical non-monogamy, which she hoped would help save their relationship. While Gino was hesitant at first about an open marriage, he ultimately gave in. During The Last Resort‘s five-part Tell All, Jasmine revealed that she was currently pregnant, but Gino was not the father.
While the couple officially announced their split during The Last Resort‘s Season 2 Tell All, Jasmine and Gino are both currently appearing on 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9. As the new Happily Ever After? season premiered on July 6, after fans watched Gino and Jasmine break up during their time on 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort, the couple’s official relationship status began to look a little blurry.
Looking at Episode 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9, when Gino revealed that he kicked Jasmine out and was finally ready to explore his side of the open marriage, it became clear that this season was filmed before Jasmine knew she was pregnant with another man’s child. Seeing as Jasmine announced the birth of her baby, Matilda, on April 9, we would guess this means that the season was filmed around summer 2024.
Who is the father of Jasmine’s baby?
The father of Jasmine’s baby is Matthew “Matt” Branistareanu, an actor whom she first met at Planet Fitness. 90 Day fans first met Matt during 90 Day Fiancé: The Last Resort Season 2, when Jasmine approached Gino about opening their marriage. While Gino had concerns that Jasmine and Matt were catching feelings that were more than platonic, the duo currently refers to each other as their “coparent.”
During 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Episode 11, Jasmine revealed to Gino that she was moving with Matt to Florida and dropped the bombshell everyone has been waiting for this season—she’s pregnant with Matt’s baby. However, by Episode 16, legal concerns got in the way of Jasmine and Matt’s growing family, as their lawyer revealed that Gino would legally be recognized as their daughter’s father since he is Jasmine’s legal partner. As she put it, “We learned a lot of devastating news. Among them [is] the fact that Gino is the legal father of my daughter,” Jasmine said.
As Matt supported Jasmine as she gave birth to their baby, Matilda, during the Episode 17 preview, Gino learned from his lawyer, “Under Michigan law, when you are married and a child is born during that marriage or the husband here, you’re presumed to be the father.” Jasmine’s biggest fear was that Gino had legal rights to the child. However, Gino saw the situation differently: He would have a “financial obligation” to that child.
Is Gino dating someone new?
During Season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Gino explored his side of their open relationship by starting to date a woman he met online. After the premiere of the season, many speculated that Gino’s new woman, Natalie, looked quite a bit like Jasmine.
Gino confirmed during Episode 11 that he and Natalie had split, blaming their falling out on Jasmine. He told Jasmine, “Well, she was doing fine until you scared the living sh*t out of her the night of the party, and she was very upset about the whole thing. And we broke up because of it.”
Firing back, Jasmine retorted, “So you’re telling me that your girlfriend broke up with you because of me and not because she discovered the web of lies that you’ve been telling her? It is not you telling her that you plan to divorce me when you have never told me that, and you were even trying to meet with me to fix things?”
Are Jasmine and Gino still married?
Jasmine and Gino separated long before divorce documents were filed. As of October 2025, it’s unclear what their legal status is as a married couple and how long it will take for their divorce to be official.
On the day of the 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9 premiere, Jasmine posted on Instagram and confirmed that she and Gino were no longer on good terms.
