‘Love Is Blind’s Sara & Joey Finally Confirm They’re Dating: Inside Their Romance
The cat’s out of the bag, Love Is Blind fans, Season 8’s Sara Carton and Joey Leveille have officially hard-launched.
On Sunday, July 13, Love Is Blind star Sara Carton revealed that she is dating her Season 8 costar Joey Leveille by posting photos together (including a kiss!) on Instagram with the caption, “Happy🥹. my newest life chapter title.” Joey then reshared the photo with his followers, confirming their new relationship status. How long have Sara and Joey been dating?
Love Is Blind stars Sara and Joey have been officially dating since July 2025. However, there has been speculation about the nature of their close relationship since their appearance on the Love Is Blind Season 8 reunion, which took place on March 9, 2025. According to Joey’s ex-fiancée, Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey approached Sara and Joey about their budding relationship off-camera at the reunion. As their costar put it, at the time, “They denied it up and down.”

Who were Sara and Joey engaged to on Love Is Blind?
While Sara and Joey were both on Season 8 of Love Is Blind, they had to say “I don’t” to other people in order to find each other. During their season, Sara got engaged to Ben Mezzenga, while Joey got engaged to Monica Danús.
During an exclusive interview, Monica told Swooon about a conversation she had with Sara about the rumors, as she considered Sara a close friend at the time. “I texted Sara, ‘I’m hearing a lot of things about you and Joey. Is there anything you need to tell me?'” According to the Love Is Blind star, “[Sara] called me and said, ‘Nothing’s official, but we are seeing each other.’ She said they didn’t want to make anything official until any online hate dies down.” This was back in March 2025.
What have Sara and Joey said about their relationship?
Until July 2025, Sara and Joey have denied that they have a relationship beyond that of close friends. On March 19, Joey broke his silence, standing by Sara in denying that they were dating. “We kind of discussed if there could be any potential there, any interest there, and ultimately we just decided, ‘I don’t think either of us are in the capacity to do that right now,’ and so we’re kind of remaining this really close support system for each other.”
Around the same time, Sara went on The Viall Files to share that she was not dating Joey. However, she did reveal that she and Joey had a close connection on the show that fans did not see. She said, “There was a love square between me, Monica, Ben, and Joey. We were all talking to each other until the second-to-last day in the pods.” While Monica and Ben have also spent a considerable amount of time together outside of the pods, they have made it clear that they are not dating.
