Coldplay’s Chris Martin Calls Out Couple’s Alleged ‘Affair’ in Viral Concert Video
Chris Martin unknowingly exposed what appears to be Astronomer CEO Andy Byron’s apparent affair with a colleague in front of a massive crowd at Coldplay’s concert in Boston on Wednesday, July 16.
During a segment of the show where couples were shown on the screen for a “kiss cam” moment, cameras panned to Byron and his company’s Chief People Officer, Kristin Cabot, with their arms wrapped around each other.
“Oh, look at these two,” Martin said, as Cabot realized what was happening and immediately unlatched herself from Byron. “Alright, come on, you’re okay,” the frontman continued. Cabot turned her back to the crowd and covered her face, while Byron dropped down to the floor.
“Oh, what?” Martin continued when he saw their reactions. “Either they’re having an affair or they’re just very shy.”

Byron has been the CEO of Astronomer since July 2023, while Cabot joined the company in the human resources department in 2024. The video of the pair has gone viral on social media, with many showing support to Byron’s wife, Megan, with whom he shares two children. Byron and Cabot have not addressed the video.
“Oh my God that looks like Astronomer CEO Andy Byron AND Astronomer Chief People Officer Kristin Cabot??? Oh that’s gonna be one awkward board meeting, if not a couple divorces too,” one person commented on a TikTok of the clip. Someone else wrote, “The camera man just did the partners of these two a huge service!” and another person said, “Unbelievable how quickly people realized these are married CEO Andy Byron & married CPO Kristin Cabot. I suspect his spouse will chew over this. Her spouse – I doubt.”
Details of Cabot’s personal life are unclear, but according to several comments, she is also married. In a now-deleted LinkedIn post announcing her hiring at Astronomer, she was referred to as Kristin Cabot (Thornby), which appears to reveal that Thornby is her maiden name.
