‘General Hospital’s Steve Burton & New Wife Share Update About Their Blended Family
Two months after his surprise wedding to Michelle Lundstrom, General Hospital star Steve Burton is making special memories with his blended family. The actor recently took a break from the soap set to spend some time with his wife and kids.
Burton took a trip to Hawaii with his new wife and their kids. Lundstrom brought along her two daughters, while Burton was joined by his two youngest children, Jack and Brooklyn. The newlyweds’ family vacation spot was actually the place where they went on their honeymoon: Montage Kapalua Bay on the coast of Maui.
On July 17, Burton shared a compilation video of footage from his trip. His clips included a beautiful rainbow, the family’s adventures on the island, and group photos.
During their trip, Burton’s daughter and Lundstrom’s girls rocked matching blue dresses for a family outing. “Love my girls,” he wrote over a photo of Lundstrom and their kids. At the end of the video, Burton and Lundstrom shared a sweet kiss.

“Burton ‘Ohana Summer Vacation,” the GH star began. “Grateful for this time together as a family, we made some incredible memories at @montagekapalua !! Returning to where we honeymooned made it even more special. Snorkeling at the resort was the favorite adventure for everyone. Exploring Kapalua Bay and swimming alongside sea turtles was unforgettable.”
He ended his post with, “Time away with @themoneymichelle at the @montagekapalua spa was the best. Maui, you never disappoint.”
Lundstrom shared a separate video on her Instagram page and revealed how she’s approaching her new blended family, especially when it comes to her her kids and Burton’s daughter.
“Maybe it’s the Italian in me, but I’m never going to obsess and live a crazy strict life. Especially on vacation!! I don’t want that for my girls either,” she wrote. “I’m going to enjoy, stay active, and live in balance, because that’s the kind of example I want to set. On vacation, I stayed active. I worked out. We hiked and our kids came too. They pushed themselves, and I saw strength in their smiles & sweat! That’s what matters to me.”
She continued, “I’m raising girls to love themselves, to care more about their health than what social media says is “perfect”. It’s about feeling strong, happy, and confident which looks different for everyone.”
Burton and the Barbeque Showdown star married on May 18 in a private California wedding. The couple had gotten engaged four months before. They started dating in 2024.
