Elle Kennedy’s next book can’t come fast enough.

If you haven’t read beyond her original Off-Campus college hockey romance series, Kennedy has already moved on to Briar U’s next generation with her Campus Diaries spinoff trilogy. The first book belongs to Gigi, the daughter of The Deal‘s Hannah Wells and Garrett Graham. Two books later, her twin brother Wyatt is getting the main character treatment.

In the standalone Love Song book, Kennedy won’t be giving Wyatt just any random love interest. Nope, fans are losing it because the author announced that he’s going to be paired up with Blake Logan. Sound familiar? That’s because she’s the daughter of Garrett’s best friend, John Logan. (He was the protagonist of The Mistake, alongside Grace Ivers.) That means readers will likely get to see Garrett and Logan freak out about their kids dating.

“Please just keep this story going forever,” one fan commented below the reveal post. “Babies and then those babies have babies – I’m invested for generations here.”

“CAN YOU IMAGINE GARRETT AND LOGAN AS GRANDPAS TOGETHER OMFG,” wrote one another reader.

In her Instagram comments, Kennedy gave readers a few crumbs about Wyatt and Blake’s story. For one, she confirmed that there will be a good amount of banter between Logan and The Score‘s Dean Di Laurentis, who we’re guessing is going to give his friend a hard time about his daughter’s choice of partner.

Kennedy also assured fans that the book will feature “so many” dad chats — a recurring group message that the Off-Campus guys use to commentate on their kids’ lives. “I’m afraid dad’s group chat won’t be enough, we need their pov too,” another reader wrote. “LOVE YOU ELLEEEEEE BEST DECISION EVER.”

Readers weren’t the only ones to react to the news. Actor Antonio Cipriano, who’s playing Logan in Prime Video’s upcoming Off-Campus adaptation, chimed in. “Gonna need to have a chat with G about this one,” he wrote under Kennedy’s post.

The show began filming in summer 2025, and Love Song is coming out in March 2026 — so is there a chance that fans will get to read Blake and Wyatt’s story and watch Season 1 around the same time? We’ll have to wait and see.
