Are ‘Love Island USA’s Huda Mustafa & ‘Too Hot to Handle’s Louis Russell Dating?

Huda Mustafa didn’t find love during the latest season of Love Island USA, but she’s already sparking romance rumors outside of the villa.
Just days after Season 7 finale episode aired, Huda was spotted holding hands with another reality TV star, strolling around The Grove shopping center in Los Angeles. However, the man on her arm wasn’t someone from the Love Island universe. After photos of their outing started circulating on July 18, fans were quick to ID Too Hot to Handle‘s Louis Russell. But are the two actually dating?
Both Huda and Louis — who appeared on Seasons 5 and 6 of Netflix’s dating series — have yet to speak out on the nature of their relationship, but that hasn’t stopped Love Island USA fans from commenting on their meetup. “Louis pulled Huda for a chat, and we love it,” one user wrote in Russell’s Instagram comments. Another added, “Take care of our gurl Huda😢❤️.”

Several users have also pointed out Louis’ connection to Love Island USA. He’s been friends with Season 6’s Miguel Harichi, who’s currently staring in the spinoff Beyond the Villa. Around the same time that Louis was linked to Huda, fans began speculating that the two friends had a falling out, since they no longer follow each other on Instagram.
“So Miguel unfollowed him because of a girl that wasn’t on his season? I can’t,” one fan theorized.
Leah Kateb, Miguel’s girlfriend and fellow Season 6 star, seemed to address the rumors in a TikTok comment, underneath a clip of her recent appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. The reality star said that “people need to actually bring back shame.”

When one fan said that Huda’s fans would “come for [her],” Leah responded that she has nothing to do with Love Island USA Season 7, nor has she watched it. “I know nothing I’m literally so confused,” she wrote. “I have no ‘beef’. I’m incredibly proud of everyone who has gone on Love Island bc it takes a lot to put yourself up on a chopping board like this. I wish them all well truly.”
Fans will have to wait and see if Huda and Louis address the dating rumors or the alleged drama. On July 20, Huda shared that she had returned home to her daughter, so they likely won’t get an update any time soon. Plus, Louis will be looking for love in Perfect Match Season 3, which premieres on August 1. We’re keeping an eye out!
