‘DWTS’ Judge Derek Hough & Wife Hayley Erbert Announce Pregnancy
The Dancing With the Stars family is growing!
On July 22, Dancing With the Stars host Derek Hough and his wife, Hayley Erbert, who was a troupe member on Seasons 21 to 27, took to Instagram to make an exciting announcement about their relationship.
In their stunning social media video, the couple wore matching cream colored outfits as they walked towards each other, embracing in a park. After sharing a kiss with her six-time Mirror Ball-winning husband, Hayley Erbert Hough reveals a quartet of connected ultrasound photos. They captioned the pregnancy announcement, “We can’t believe the biggest thing to happen to us could be so small ♥️.”

From Joey Graziadei to Gleb Savchenko, the Dancing with the Stars crew is already abuzz with well wishes for the couple. Fellow DWTS pro Rylee Arnold wrote, “I’m crying!!!!! This is the best news ever!!!! Congrats you two I couldn’t be happier ❤️🥹❤️🥹” Jenna Johnson commented, “OMGGGG!!!! Baby Hough. Cannot wait to meet you!!!!!! Congratulations mama.”
Erbert and Hough first met in 2014 when she was hired as a dancer for Derek and Julianne Hough‘s “Move Live Tour.” Erbert quickly joined the Dancing With the Stars troupe after the Houghs’ tour. The couple went official three years after they began dating on the show with an Instagram post together captioned, “Can’t believe this was 3 years ago ❤ #TBT.”
Back in December 2023, the couple experienced a terrifying medical situation. Erbert was hospitalized during their Symphony of Dance tour. Hough told fans, “She was diagnosed with a cranial hematoma from a burst blood vessel and required an emergency craniectomy.” She later had skull surgery and made a full recovery. The couple performed an emotional dance together in October 2025, which marked Erbert’s return to the ballroom. Hough will return as a judge for DWTS Season 34.
