The couple crossed paths in the Dominican Republic when Kara was visiting for a work trip. Kara was then asked to move to the Dominican Republic for work, and at the time, Guillermo was the only person she knew in the country. Following their decision to move in together right off the bat, Kara and Guillermo shocked their families by getting engaged. Heading into Season 9 of Happily Ever After?, the couple was married with one son, Nicolas (Nico).

Are 90 Day Fiancé’s Kara and Guillermo still together?
As of Episode 11 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Kara and Guillermo have split. Before their breakup was announced, they unfollowed each other on their official Instagram accounts, sending a message that they are not on good terms.
From their first appearance on Season 9 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After?, Kara and Guillermo have made it clear that their relationship has been strained due to work, intimacy, and other issues. As of Episode 10, Kara and Guillermo decided to go their separate ways. Kara admitted, “I wanted it to be different. I think you’re not my person. Doesn’t mean that I don’t love you, that I don’t care about you, and that I don’t respect you as a father and my son.” Instead, she said, “I just think that we have two vastly different versions of how we got here.”
Before their reunion during Episode 10, Kara announced early on in the season that Guillermo had left her. She stated, “He left. He moved out a few days ago.” She added, “We’re both hoping this is just temporary.” At the time of filming, Kara revealed, “We just got to the point where we can’t even talk without it devolving into a fight,” which caused her to ask him to leave.

Did 90 Day Fiancé’s Kara cheat on Guillermo?
During Episode 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? Season 9, Guillermo accused Kara of cheating on him, which she denied. While the fight occurred off-camera, Kara told producers, “A few days ago, Guillermo saw me laughing and writing on my phone, and he legitimately thinks that I’m cheating on him.” When asked if his accusation held any weight, Kara maintained that “there’s zero truth to his accusations.”

As Guillermo claimed that Kara had cheated on him, Kara worried he may be “projecting.” While he did not directly deny the claims, Guillermo stated, “I was hoping for a cute reconciliation in some way, for everybody, for me, for Nico, for a family. But I feel like we just talk deeper into our problems that we have. Now she’s just saying that I cheated on her. And I feel like it’s even more intense for me because I gave my life to come here to marry her, to create a family. So it doesn’t feel safe.”

While we do not know if Kara and Guillermo have reconciled, Kara shared on the show, “I don’t know, I just feel like sometimes I feel okay, and I’m optimistic that everything’s going to be fine, and then other times it feels like we’re really on the brink, like on the edge of the end.”
According to Kara, the “saddest part” is remembering how they were when they first got together. “I think about how happy we used to be,” she shared. “I just see him now in two different ways, you know, it’s like the old Guillermo that I really love, and then like this new Guillermo that I feel like… I don’t know how we got here.”

During their promotion for the show, social media sleuths spotted that Kara and Guillermo no longer follow each other on Instagram, a telltale sign that reality stars have split.
While both Kara and Guillermo post photos with their son, their feeds no longer showcase photos of all three of them together. Fans have also speculated that both Kara and Guillermo seem to have stopped wearing their wedding rings.
