‘General Hospital’s Steve Burton & Wife Michelle Lundstrom Welcome New Addition to Their Family
Soap star Steve Burton and wife Michelle Lundstrom have had the most wonderful summer as newlyweds. After getting married in May 2025, the General Hospital vet and his love have been making memories with their family and embracing this next chapter together.
The couple, who went public with their romance at the Daytime Emmys in 2024, got engaged in January 2025 and said “I do” just a few months later in private Laguna Beach nuptials with their closest loved ones. Following a family vacation to Hawaii, Burton and Lundstrom revealed on July 27 that they’ve taken the next step in their relationship. They’ve added a new member to their blended family!
Burton and Lundstrom are now proud parents to an adorable puppy! “Welcome home Wyatt Burton,” the couple’s joint Instagram post read. “Meet the sweetest addition to our family. He’s super new, only 8 weeks old. Seriously the cutest little fluffy guy. We all love him!!”

Lundstrom kicked off the announcement video from a plane. “We’re on our way back from New York. Today’s the big day,” she said. The Barbeque Showdown alum could be seen carrying little Wyatt through the airport. She also included sweet moments of Burton playing with the cute pup, as well as their kids.
The couple recently returned from their summer getaway in Hawaii. Burton and Lundstrom took their kids to the same place they honeymooned: Montage Kapalua Bay. “Grateful for this time together as a family, we made some incredible memories at @montagekapalua !! Returning to where we honeymooned made it even more special. Snorkeling at the resort was the favorite adventure for everyone. Exploring Kapalua Bay and swimming alongside sea turtles was unforgettable,” Burton captioned his post.
Lundstrom has two daughters, Lilah and Hannah, from a previous relationship. Burton has three kids, Makena, Brooklyn, and Jack, with his ex-wife, Sheree Burton. They split in 2022 after being married for 23 years.
