‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Preview: Jill Cries After Sean, 28, Kisses April, 67, During Chemistry Test (VIDEO)

Things seem to be falling apart for Jill Chin during Week 4 of Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. While she was excited about the prospect of a romance with Sean McLaughlin after his arrival last week, the tears are flowing in Swooon‘s exclusive sneak peek of the Monday, July 28, episode.

The preview features the cast members (both young and Golden) participating in the “Birds of Paradise” chemistry test, and there’s another crossover between generational lines when things heat up between Sean and April Kirkwood.

“Tonight, the men here are going to be putting on their best mating dance to attract their mate,” Parisa Shifteh explains. “We all know this is what gets me going.”

As a shirtless Sean enters the room, Jill can’t hide her excitement. “With Sean, he’s looking really good. This bird just wants a peck,” she admits. But when he pulls April to the ground for a kiss and gets on top of her for the passionate moment, everything changes.

“Sean doesn’t care if I live or die,” Jill says, as clips of her crying while Sean dances with various women are shown. “Did not see me, did not care. I’m there for convenience. People only are with me because I’m the only one left. This happens every time. I’m the odd man out, always.”

Jill was a contestant on Season 8 of Bachelor in Paradise in 2022. She quit the show after her romance with Jacob Rapini fizzled out, but they ended up getting back together at the reunion months later. However, the rekindled relationship didn’t last long. By the beginning of December 2022, they had broken up.

“I will leave it at this — the trust had been broken and in a long-distance relationship, you need communication and trust and we had neither of those things,” Jill admitted on the Bachelor Happy Hour podcast, adding that she and Jacob started talking again about three weeks before the reunion. She also confirmed that the breakup happened shortly after he hard launched their love on Instagram.

“I don’t want to say I’m embarrassed, but unfortunately the hard launch happened and it is what it is,” she said. “Now I just have to speak about it. I never wanted the whole Notes app request for privacy. It’s so lame. I don’t want to do that. It is what it is. We’re going to move on. I don’t wish any ill will towards Jacob. I think in the future he can be a good partner to somebody if he puts in the work.”

Meanwhile, Sean was on Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, but was eliminated during Week 2 after a brief romance with Rachel Recchia.
