‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pros Emma Slater & Alan Bersten Flaunt Romance With New PDA Photos
Emma Slater and Alan Bersten are not being shy about their romance any longer. After going public with the relationship during the Dancing With the Stars tour in August, the pro dancers have started to share PDA photos on social media.
On July 28, they posted images from a recent trip to visit Bersten’s family. In one shot, they stripped down to their swimsuits and shared a kiss in the water.
“Had the best time this weekend back home, celebrating my niece’s Bat Mitzvah! And we went tubing in a river!” Bersten captioned the joint Instagram post. Slater seems to be fitting right in with her man’s family, too, as she was seen hitting the dance floor with some of the kids at the party.

Although Bersten and Slater have been rumored to be a couple since last year, they didn’t confirm their romance until they kissed on stage at the final night of the DWTS tour. Since then, they’ve mostly kept things low-key (until now).
Slater was previously married to another DWTS pro, Sasha Farber, but they separated in 2022 after less than four years of marriage.
“It’s really the kid thing,” Slater explained on The Viall Files podcast. “It’s interesting because I do want to have kids, I just don’t want to delay Sasha’s path in having kids because I know that he is ready for that. I don’t want to talk about him too much because that’s really for him to say, but it’s about kids.”
All three dancers have continued to work together. “We’re still like family,” Slater said. “It isn’t really like the love is not there. It’s actually not that at all.”
While the list of pros for the upcoming 34th season of DWTS has not been confirmed, Farber, Slater, and Bersten were all on the Season 33 cast last year. Farber actually struck up a romance of his own with his dance partner Jenn Tran, but it has since fizzled out.
