How did Leanne Morgan meet her husband?
Leanne was in her mid-20s when she met Chuck at the University of Tennessee. She was back in school for her degree in child and family studies. She was working at a restaurant when she met Chuck for the first time.
Leanne recounted the story while chatting with the pair’s daughter Maggie on her YouTube channel. “Your daddy, Chuck Morgan, was in MBA school and came to work [at the restaurant],” Leanne recalled. “They had a group of trainees come through. And I’m standing up against the wall waiting for my table to be seated. He’s tall. He’s 6’4″. He’s so thin. He looks like a praying mantis. I mean that in a sweet way. And I said, ‘You’re as tall as a tree.'”
They got married around 1993 when Leanne was 26.
“He, you know, was just so crazy about me,” Leanne joked in an interview with Fresh Air. “And when I was at the University of Tennessee [he] would not leave me alone and stalked me, really.”
What does Chuck Morgan do for a living?
Chuck started running a mobile home business in his 20s.
“Chuck Morgan is a very driven overachiever person, and he ran that business for years and then sold it and went to work for a large mobile home company,” Leanne explained in her YouTube conversation.
Do Chuck and Leanne Morgan have kids?
Yes, they are parents to son Charlie, born in 1993, and daughters Maggie and Tess, born in 1996 and 1998, respectively. Through their kids, they have at least two grandchildren, per posts shared on Leanne’s social media.

Who was Leanne Morgan’s first husband?
Before she married Chuck, Leanne tied the knot with another man at the age of 21. She has not publicly named her first husband, but confirmed that she ended the “abusive” relationship when she was 23.
“I was married before Chuck, only for two and a half years,” she once told Garden and Gun. “And [my ex-husband] said to me, ‘I think people are making fun of you. You need to have diction lessons. You need to change how you talk.’ And I never believed that.”
It was after ending her marriage that Leanne decided to return to school to finish her degree.
