‘Nancy Drew’ Star Alex Saxon Marries Hannah Marks in Romantic Wedding

Alex Saxon and Hannah Marks have said “I do!” The Nancy Drew alum and Turtles All the Way Down director tied the knot on August 2 at the Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo, California.
The couple’s friends shared photos and videos of the beautiful nuptials, which Marks reposted on her Instagram Stories. Saxon and Marks could be seen in the bed of a white pickup truck kissing each other with a sign behind them that read “Just Married.” Marks later changed into a hot pink dress for her and Saxon’s reception, which fit the Madonna Inn’s pink hotel vibe.
The wedding marked a reunion for Marks and her Turtles All the Way Down crew. Author John Green attended Marks and Saxon’s wedding, along with star Isabela Merced and executive producer Laura Quicksilver. Countdown star Violett Beane was also there, along with Francesca Reale, Coral Peña, and Haley Ramm.
Marks and Saxon tend to keep their relationship out of the public eye, but Marks has shared glimpses of their romance over the years, from trips to Europe with pals Lili Reinhart and Jack Martin to New York adventures. Saxon supported Marks at the Los Angeles screening of Turtles All the Way Down in April 2024.
In July 2019, the Necessary Roughness star revealed that she and Saxon had celebrated their two-year anniversary. “Happy two year to my dog daddy,” she wrote at the time. She first confirmed their relationship in July 2018.
The couple has worked together a number of times. Saxon played one of the leads in Mark, Mary & Some Other People, which Marks directed and co-wrote. Saxon also had a role in 2018’s After Everything, which Marks co-directed and co-wrote. Marks’ next project is starring in The Housewife, a new film with Naomi Watts and Norman Reedus.
