‘Off Campus’ Series Reveals Flirty First Footage of Garrett & Hannah (VIDEO)
Score! Our first glimpse at Hannah and Garrett is finally here, Off Campus fans.
In May, Ella Bright and Belmont Cameli were announced as the leads in the TV show adaptation of Elle Kennedy’s The Deal, and Prime Video wasted no time in kicking off production on the hockey romance. Casting announcements have been rolling out steadily, and filming has been underway since July. We’ve been eagerly gathering intel on the show ever since.
Until now, all we had were a few photos of the Briar U set and the actors’ trailer doors. (The core four had labeled them “The Garrett Graham,” “Daddy Dean,” “Papa John (Logan),” and “Chef Tucker.”) Prime Video’s been stingy with the information so far, but we just got a sneak peek of Garrett and Hannah in the flesh. It’s just as swoonworthy as we hoped!
The video, which shows a hair and makeup test between Bright and Cameli, is only a tease of what’s to come. Kennedy’s 2015 book charts the unlikely romance between hockey-hating music major Hannah and the school’s star center Garrett. They make a deal: Hannah will tutor him, and Garrett will help make her crush jealous. In the footage, Bright runs her hand up Cameli’s chest, and when he ducks his head into her neck, she walks away. Cameli watches her go with a smile on his face. (Cue the screams.)

The two stars joined all of the excited fans in the comment section. “Ahhhhhhhhhh,” Bright wrote, while Cameli simply wrote “Belmont.” Cameli’s onscreen teammates also got in on the fun. “Hey @belmontcameli can I borrow ur jacket I can’t find mine,” joked Stephen Kalyn, who plays Dean.
Antonio Cipriano (aka Logan) expressed his support for his costars. “THATS MY HANNAH AND GARRETT 👏👏👏, ” he said. Tucker’s actor, Jalen Thomas Brooks, chimed in with a “Wait, whoa…”
Heartbreak High‘s Josh Heuston channeled his Off Campus character, Justin. He’s a rock band singer, and more importantly, Garrett’s rival for Hannah’s affection. “Well well well,” he said.
Though there’s no release date for the series yet, Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed that the first season will premiere in 2026. “We’ve been obsessively watching dailies, and we’re really excited by what we’re seeing,” Vernon Sanders, the studio’s head of television, told Deadline. “We should be getting our first cuts in the not-too-distant future.”
