’90 Day’: Ashley Bowen Make ‘Hunt for Love’ Debut as Chantel Everett Confesses Feelings
During the August 11 episode of 90 Day: Hunt for Love, Chantel Everett made a life-changing call, confessing romantic feelings to a friend from back home.
Throughout 90 Day: Hunt for Love, Chantel has explored relationships with other singles. However, she has made it clear that nothing compares to the feeling she gets when she’s with her friend from home, Ashley Kotera Bowen.
During the penultimate episode of Hunt for Love Season 1, Chantel decided to call Ashley after sitting down with fellow 90 Day Fiancé alum Tim Malcolm for a candid discussion about her sexuality. While she did not know what her feelings for Ashley meant for future intimacy, her relationship with her family, and more, their call was clearly the beginning of a new era for the former The Family Chantel star.

During their video call, Ashley was prepared to ask Chantel all about her blossoming connections at the singles retreat. However, Chantel quickly confessed, “I did end up kissing a lady. Her name is Jeniffer [Tarazona].” Ultimately admitting, “But when I kissed her, I felt kind of guilty… I felt like I was cheating on you because you’ve been in the back of my mind, like a lot.”
As it turns out, her trip to Tulum for Hunt for Love gave Chantel nothing but time to realize that her feelings were more than platonic when it comes to her friend. On the call, she confessed, “I feel like I just want to come home and spend time with you.” She added, “Maybe we can grow romantically.”
Chantel has previously stated that, leading up to Hunt for Love, Ashley told Chantel that she had feelings for her. They even kissed at a bar before parting ways. That’s why Ashley was clearly thrilled to hear Chantel’s confession. On the video call, Ashley responded, “Hearing you say how you feel about me is just… Wow. It makes me feel so wonderful and so happy, and I really want to be with you.”
With only one episode to go, it’s clear that Chantel will not be leaving the singles retreat early to reconnect with Ashley. Only time will tell if Ashley will make her (in-person) 90 Day: Hunt for Love debut during the Tell All!
