‘Big Brother’ Couple Confirmed! Taylor Hale & Kyland Young Join ‘Amazing Race’ Season 38
Turns out these Big Brother stars will have a showmance, just not on the reality TV show that viewers expected.
On August 14, The Amazing Race revealed its Season 38 cast, featuring 13 Big Brother houseguests, who will set off to compete in a European adventure with a travel companion. While pulling contestants from another CBS franchise sets The Amazing Race up for some dramatic reunions — We’re looking at you, Tucker Des Lauriers and Rubina Bernabe! — as well as introductions to the other half of some of the Big Brother houseguests’ relationships, there is certainly one couple that we are most excited to see traveling the world — or at least Europe — together.
Romantic rumors have flown about Big Brother: Unlocked host Taylor Hale ever since she stepped out of the house after winning Big Brother Season 24. Most recently, she was connected to Season 23 contestant Kyland Young; however, the Lay’s loving Big Brother star maintained that she and Kyland were just friends — at least, until now.
With the announcement of The Amazing Race cast, Taylor and Kyland have officially hard-launched their relationship in the funniest way possible. Following months of speculation without any real confirmation, the two have become the only duo in the race to have both competed on Big Brother. How? They’ve joined as boyfriend and girlfriend.
This news comes after Taylor’s candid confession on The Exclusive w/ Sharon Tharp, where she said that she went on a single (unintentional) date with Kyland back in August 2023. She said, “He’s always been a really, really great friend to me.” As Phil Keoghan would say, now the world is waiting for them.
