What Happened to ’The Bachelorette’ Winner Jed Wyatt? His Life 6 Years Later
Jed Wyatt was public enemy #1 after his season of The Bachelorette in 2019. The aspiring country music singer got engaged to Hannah Brown (who recently got married) during the Season 15 finale, but they split while their season was airing after it was revealed that he had a girlfriend back home when he left to film the show.
The pair’s breakup was captured by ABC cameras and aired during The Bachelorette finale. Since then, Wyatt has distanced himself from Bachelor Nation, but he is still active on social media. Scroll down for everything we know about what he’s up to today.
What is Jed Wyatt doing now?
In addition to major updates in his personal life (which we’ll get to below), Wyatt created the BootSnake in 2022. The product is the “solution to bulky boot lines.” The BootSnake helps boots fit better with slim jeans or pants.
Wyatt also runs a business called SoftWave Therapy in Tennessee. “We are dedicated to empowering others to live healthier, happier lives through compassionate service and innovative solutions,” the company’s website says. “An alternative to an injection, surgery or medicine, we use patented technology to treat an injured area at the cellular level to successfully turn on the body’s natural healing process.”
Plus, he is still pursuing his music career, per his Instagram bio.
Did Jed Wyatt get married?
Yes, Wyatt is married to Ellen Decker. The two debuted their Instagram in November 2019, less than one year after his split from Brown. “Thanks @mastro_m for introducing me to the only person to make me smile more than riding a jetski,” Wyatt captioned his Instagram hard launch.
Wyatt proposed to Decker, a health and fitness coach, in July 2022. They tied the knot two years later in July 2024.

Wyatt celebrated their one-year anniversary on Instagram, writing, “They say your first year of marriage is the hardest. Well, we said watch this!! let’s get a house and get puppy and get pregnant and get matching neck tats! Loving you has been the easiest thing I’ve ever done. You’re my best friend, truly. I love that we have this life to share together with our little girl. Happy One Year❤️ (Made you look, we didn’t get tats).”
Does Jed Wyatt have a child?
Not just yet, but he will have a daughter any day now. In March 2025, Wyatt and Decker announced that they were expecting their first child. “This next chapter is called: mom and dad!!! finallly can share our little secret🤍 baby Wyatt, our biggest blessing coming summer ‘25,” the pair captioned a joint Instagram post.
In August, they hinted that Decker was just days away from giving birth. “Whenever you’re ready🎀,” they captioned another set of photos from a maternity shoow. “can’t imagine doing this with anyone else – I love love this chapter so much already!”
