Rachel Recchia found her perfect match in Ray Gantt on Season 3 of Perfect Match. After connecting towards the end of filming, the two were one of the final five couples during the Episode 10 finale.

Although they were eliminated during the last compatibility challenge, Rachel and Ray seemed absolutely smitten with one another. But were they able to make their love last after filming ended?

“I feel like we didn’t get too much time together in the villa and then you go your separate ways and things are hard,” Rachel admitted to Swooon. “But we actually have maintained a real friendship. We see each other all the time. He sent me this gorgeous bouquet of flowers when our cast got announced. He’s truly the best. So we’re definitely still really, really close as friends.”

So, Rachel didn’t make a lasting romantic connection on her latest dating show attempt, and she’s “letting things come naturally” in her love life now. “You never know,” she teased. “But I’m just letting the show play [out] for the next couple of weeks.”

Rachel made her reality television debut on The Bachelor where she made it to Clayton Echard‘s final three before an emotional breakup. Clayton was also a contestant on Season 3 of Perfect Match, and he and Rachel gave their relationship another shot in Tulum. However, after matching up one time, he broke things off.

We’re fine [now],” Rachel confirmed. “He apologized, I apologized. I think, at this point, I just cannot fight him anymore. I can’t have hard feelings anymore. I’ve had these for years. I think we just need to move forward, both of us.”

After The Bachelor, Rachel became the lead on The Bachelorette and got engaged to Tino Franco, but they broke up before their season finished airing after she learned he cheated on her. She then gave Bachelor in Paradise a try, but left the show single. After her fourth dating show (Perfect Match), she’s ready to throw in the towel.

“I truly feel like this was such a good retirement,” Rachel said. “I felt the same way about Paradise. I feel good. I can end on this. I truly feel like now, I had this amazing experience, Netflix is incredible, and I feel good hanging up the boots with that.”
