Battle on the Beach  may have been cancelled, but Alison Victoria isn’t letting it stop her from enjoying a romantic vacation.

The HGTV star, who also leads the network’s Ugliest House in America and Windy City Rehab, spent time in Greece with her boyfriend, Brandt Andersen. In an August 16 Instagram post, which she captioned “Postcards from Spetses,” Victoria shared glimpses of what she got up to with her love during their getaway.

In one snapshot, Victoria’s legs are tangled up with Andersen’s on a lounge chair, and in another, he grasps her face as they lock lips. In her second post marking the occasion, the renovation expert has her arms wrapped around her boyfriend’s neck while they stand outside of their villa. There’s another that shows Andersen pressing a kiss to Victoria’s forehead while she smiles at the camera.

“I’ve followed you for years and I have to say, this is the happiest I’ve ever seen you and I’m so happy for you because you deserve it!! ❤️,” one fan commented underneath the post, to which Victoria replied, “Thank you!!!”

The update comes a little over a month after HGTV gave Battle on the Beach, which Victoria served as a judge on since its 2021 premiere, the axe. The show pit three renovator duos against each other, tasking them with transforming seaside beach houses.

The HGTV star expressed her disappointment during the July 1 episode of her Pap Smear Podcast, and she explained that the series lost a lot of its humor in the edit, which might have played a role in its fate. “It’s a lot of content to try to put into 42 minutes, but where is it, like, where’s the great editing?” she said. “You’ll lose a show that way, I truly believe that. And Battle on the Beach did not get picked back up, which is sad because it was like adult spring break.”

Victoria appears to be cheering herself up by taking some time off with Andersen, who she made her red carpet debut with at the Daytime Emmys last summer. “We have a very honest relationship where we just laugh and we laugh and we just have a great time all the time,” Anderson told Us Weekly a few weeks later. “No matter what’s going on in our lives, we kind of laugh our way through. We dance.”

“He is the most amazing human I’ve ever met,” Victoria added. “I love that everybody already knew how amazing he was. And now I could just be so proud to be next to him.”
