‘Bachelor in Paradise’ Preview: The Couples Face Their Next Relationship Test (VIDEO)
When it comes to a lasting relationship, your communication has to be solid with your partner. In Swooon’s exclusive preview of the August 18 episode of Bachelor in Paradise, the couples must face off in their next relationship test, which is all about how you communicate.
One partner is placed in a large treasure chest, and the other partner must find them using only a walkie-talkie and their stashed-away partner’s guidance. “Your communication has got to be on point,” host Jesse Palmer says.
Spencer Conley and Jess Edwards get off to a decent start, but Jess is going at her own pace. “Patience is key in a relationship,” Spencer quips. Meanwhile, Dale Moss and Kat Izzo aren’t having the easiest time. When Kat mentions the “starboard” side. Dale has no clue what that is. Andrew Spencer and Alexe Godin are in a similar situation.
When Andrew talks about a spigot, Alexe is totally lost. “I was not born in the 1800s. If a spigot is what’s going to send me home, so be it,” she admits. How will the rest of the remaining couples fare? Only time will tell.
The synopsis for the August 18 episode reads: “As pressure builds in Paradise, couples begin to play with their heads as much as their hearts. Jesse introduces the ‘Treasure Hunk,’ putting communication skills to the test through a series of chaotic puzzles, and reveals that the next rose ceremony will feature a group vote in which two couples will be sent home. Later, the winning couple goes on a romantic date, and Sean’s bold attempt to lead a voting alliance sends ripples through the beach.”
