Christina Haack & Tarek El Moussa Reunite for Son’s ‘Fresh Start’

Christina Haack and Tarek El Moussa are truly pros at coparenting. On August 18, the former couple reunited for a very special reason.
The exes met up for their 9-year-old son, Brayden. They posed for a sweet photo with their son, alongside Tarek’s wife, Heather Rae El Moussa, and their son, Tristan.
“First day of 4th grade for Bray 🩵 New school. Fresh start. New adventures. Let the chaos begin!!!” Christina captioned the adorable photo. Brayden leaned in to hug his mom before he left for school. Heather commented, “Here we go!!!!”
Heather also shared a video on her Instagram Story and gave some insight into the big day. “Taylor’s first day of high school. Crazy. And Brayden’s first day of fourth grade. We’re figuring it out. It’s going to be a rough probably two weeks of us trying to get our s**t together.”
Ahead of Taylor and Brayden’s first day of school, Christina and Heather took the kids out without Tarek. “The feeling when school starts tomorrow…. @christinahaack,” Heather captioned her Instagram Story, which included Tarek’s current and former love drinking a glass of wine together.
Tarek and Heather, along with Christina and her new boyfriend, Christopher Larocca, recently went on a double date trip to Las Vegas for Christina’s birthday. “Who else flies to Vegas with their boyfriend, their ex and his wife for a 24-hour birthday trip? 😂 🤷🏼♀️” Christina captioned an Instagram post. In another joint post, Heather and Christina wrote, “Let’s just say we’re not your average blended family. #holyairball.”
Despite Tarek and Christina’s divorce, the two have remained close. The exes star in HGTV’s The Flip Off with Heather. Christina’s ex-husband, Josh Hall, appeared in three episodes, but he was no longer featured after he filed for divorce in July 2024.
“We were there for [Christina] in every way possible, to be honest,” Tarek told TV Insider ahead of The Flip Off premiere. “Christina’s family. We have two kids together. We filmed a show together. We’ve all been together for coparenting for six years now. It was very difficult to see the kids upset. In the end, I think it’s working out for the best.”
