Steve Burton and Michelle Lundstrom‘s summer of love continues! The General Hospital star and his new wife kicked off the summer by getting married in a surprise May wedding, before heading out on a number of romantic trips.
In the midst of Burton’s busy General Hospital filming schedule, the soap star and Lundstrom flew across the country for a getaway in the name of love. The couple shared sweet photos of their recent trip, and it’s clear the honeymoon period for these two is far from over.
Burton shared a carousel of photos of his and Lundstrom’s trip to New York City. The newlyweds posed in front of The Plaza Hotel. “I was talking to a camera guy from GH who is from New York,” Burton began. “I was telling him how awesome I think Manhattan is. He said Steve that’s why they call it, ‘THE CITY.’ Indeed. The greatest city. What’s your favorite spot in NYC?” Lundstrom shared Burton’s post on her Instagram Story and gushed. “The best wknd.”

Lundstrom posted additional photos from the couple’s getaway, which was for a friend’s wedding. “Red-eye to NY for love,” Lundstrom captioned her post. For the nuptials, the couple coordinated in all-black outfits. Lundstrom rocked an off-the-shoulder black dress, while Burton dressed in a black shirt and pants.
Burton and Lundstrom recently traveled to Maui, where they honeymooned, for a second vacation with their blended family. “Grateful for this time together as a family, we made some incredible memories at @montagekapalua !! Returning to where we honeymooned made it even more special,” Burton captioned his Instagram post. “Snorkeling at the resort was the favorite adventure for everyone. Exploring Kapalua Bay and swimming alongside sea turtles was unforgettable.”
When the couple said “I do,” Burton told People it was the “beginning of forever with the love of my life.” The actor admitted that he’s “never felt so loved and cared for in my entire life.” He was previously married to Sheree Burton, with whom he shares three children, from 1999 to 2022.
