After Allyshia Gupta’s elimination from Bachelor in Paradise during the Monday, August 18, episode, she’s spilling some piping hot tea. The Season 10 contestant, who self-eliminated with Sean McLaughlin, appeared on The Viall Files podcast and made some shocking claims against costar Katherine Izzo.

A fight between Kat and Sean erupted in Week 7 of Bachelor in Paradise, which stemmed from him confronting her over her claims that they weren’t friends (the two previously appeared on Season 9 of BiP in 2023, and Sean insisted that they were “real-life friends” after filming). Allyshia called Kat “not an honest person” on the podcast and went on to drop a bombshell about her.

Allyshia claimed that Kat was sending messages to her boyfriend, who also happened to be Sean’s best friend, while filming BiP in Costa Rica. “She’s been sending him love letters since day one in Paradise,” Allyshia alleged. “She snuck her iPad in. She was sending things to get him through, like, ‘This will last you until I get back out of Paradise.’ Like, that’s crazy.”

Host Nick Viall admitted he’d also heard the allegations about Kat communicating with a boyfriend offscreen. “I heard she somehow wrote some messages on her arm for him,” Nick shared.

Throughout Season 10, Kat has been dating Dale Moss on Bachelor in Paradise. During this week’s episode, she officially asked him to be her boyfriend, and he accepted.

Kat has not publicly responded to Allyshia’s claims, but she did post a PDA-filled video with Dale on August 19, which she captioned, “Everyone wants what they can’t have hehe.” She also shared screenshots of hateful messages she’d gotten on social media and wrote, “A reminder that we’re real people, this is a TV show, and to do your deep breathing.”

Kat got engaged to John Henry Spurlock on Season 9 of Bachelor in Paradise, but they split shortly after the finale aired.
