Are ‘Welcome to Plathville’s Lydia Plath & Zac Wyse Still Together?
Lydia Plath and Zac Wyse tied the knot just six months into their relationship. They wed in February at her family’s farm in Georgia, just two months after Wyse popped the question in December 2024.
Of the decision to get married so quickly, Wyse explained on an episode of Welcome to Plathville that Plath was planning to go to Germany on a mission trip and told him to come with her. “Then we kind of got to the conversation of, ‘OK, are we going to Germany married or engaged?’” he explained. “And as we asked that question, everything kind of came together to happen before we went to Germany.”

Yes, Plath and Wyse are happy and in love. Earlier this month, she celebrated their six-month wedding anniversary on Instagram, gushing, “6 months into forever!🤍 Growing in love has been the most beautiful journey with you.”
She also recently addressed the couple’s decision to wait until their wedding day to have their first kiss. “It’s really saddening to see how that is taken such the wrong way in this day and age,” she wrote. “Instead of people seeing how honoring and selfless that was of my husband, they assume we just weren’t attracted to each other. QUITE THE OPPOSITE!”

Plath added, “It had secretly been something I had desired, but I wanted the man to bring it up by the Holy Spirits leading and not me putting rules on by my own strength. To my surprise within one week of dating, Zac brings it up! It had never even crossed his mind till he met me.”
Do Lydia Plath and Zac Wyse have kids?
No, they do not have kids yet, and while they walked down the aisle very quickly, they aren’t in a rush to start a family.
On the August 26 episode of Welcome to Plathville, which was filmed months ago, Barry Plath told his daughter and her husband-to-be, “I think it’s going to be hard to not have children quick,” and she replied, “We really want to wait a while.”
Wyse added, “We have our own dynamic that we’re creating. And as part of that, in the future, we plan to have children.”
How did Lydia Plath and Zac Wyse meet?
The pair met while Plath was attending church in Colorado and got put in a Young Adults group. She was seated next to Wyse, and he ended up asking her out. They went hiking for their first date.
