‘Blue Bloods’ Star Bridget Moynahan Shares Rare Photo of Her & Ex Tom Brady’s Son Jack
The U.S. Open in New York is always a star-studded affair. Celebrities love to step into the stadium to watch the thrilling tennis matches. Blue Bloods alum Bridget Moynahan had a fun mother-son outing with her son, John “Jack” Edward Thomas Moynahan.
The Sex and the City alum usually keeps her personal life out of the public eye, but she shared a rare photo with her only child on August 27 after they attended the U.S. Open. Jack, whom Moynahan shares with ex-boyfriend Tom Brady, could be seen towering over his mom as they posed for a photo together.
“Traditions at the @usopen 🎾 Thank you @emirates for hosting an incredible night of tennis,” she captioned the Instagram photo with her son. Vanessa Ray, Moynahan’s Blue Bloods costar, commented with a simple red heart emoji. MSNBC host Stephanie Ruhle wrote, “Cuties.” Many believe that Jack is the spitting image of his dad, but one fan wrote, “He looks like both of his parents to me… handsome young man – you’ve done an awesome job mum!”
Moynahan and Brady’s son turned 18 on August 22. In his most recent newsletter, the seven-time Super Bowl champion opened up about being a dad to his oldest child.
“Jack has always shown grace, courage, love and kindness, and he has grown into a man of deep character defined by those values, not to mention a host of other admirable traits. It’s truly an honor and a blessing to be his dad,” Brady wrote.
He added, “It was really heartening and rewarding as a parent to see a room full of 15 great kids with strong bonds and the right values. Nobody is perfect, everyone has room to grow and improve — this is especially true as parents — but seeing Jack with his friends felt like, hey, we got this one right!”
In his Instagram message for his son’s birthday, Brady gushed that he is “so proud of the man you are.” He added, “There is a saying that a dad’s heart soars with his children’s happiness, not with his own…truer words could not be spoken. We love you so much and I know this will be your best year yet.”
Moynahan and Brady dated from 2004 to 2006. She gave birth to Jack in 2007. Brady has two kids, Ben and Vivian, with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. Moynahan married businessman Andrew Frankel in 2015.
