Brad & Kimberly Williams-Paisley Make Rare Comments About Kids Amid Major Family Milestone

Brad Paisley and wife Kimberly Williams-Paisley have so much going on these days. In addition to his busy touring schedule and her acting career (she’ll be on 9-1-1: Nashville this fall), the longtime couple is also celebrating a major family milestone.
In a rare joint interview, Brad and Kimberly opened up about what their kids, William “Huck” and Jasper, are up to these days.
Most notably, Huck is heading to college this fall. “He’s really interested in visual art and storytelling,” Williams told Parade. “He’s written a bunch of plays.” The proud parents did not reveal where Huck will be studying, but Brad joked that Jasper is “looking forward to having the house to himself.”
“I have a note that Huck wrote me when he was like 7 or 8 years old,” Williams recalled. “His spelling is atrocious and it’s written in pencil. It says, ‘Mom, come visit me in college, you promise?’ I’m getting it framed to give to him to put it on his wall in his dorm, so every time I show up, I can just refer to his signed testimony.”
The Paisleys have been married since 2003. They welcomed Huck four years later, followed by Jasper in 2009. The boys also inspired the pair’s journey to open The Store, a nonprofit that provides food to hungry families in Nashville.
Kimberly said the boys were “acting a little spoiled” around Thanksgiving one year. “I said, ‘We’ve got to put them into service doing something, get them out of their bubble,” she explained. They set the kids up volunteering at a charity organization in Santa Barbara.
“They learned so much,” Kimberly shared. “Within minutes, they were packing beans and stacking shelves and putting on price tags. They eventually graduated to working the register. And they loved it.”
The “I’m Gonna Miss Her” singer noted that he and his wife “both had similar parents who put a big emphasis on giving back,” and Kimberly added, “I hope our kids pick it up the way we picked it up.”
