‘Big Brother’: Did Rylie Jeffries & Katherine Woodman Break Up? New Update

While Big Brother Season 27 was all about the so-called ‘cheatmance‘ between Vince Panaro and Morgan Pope, the most recent season of the CBS competition show  did feature a real showmance, as well. At least, houseguests Rylie Jeffries and Katherine Woodman certainly sparked conversation as millions watched their controversial dynamic play out in the Big Brother house. Months after the season concluded, the couple has now given viewers a much-needed update on their post-show relationship.

During the season, many members of the Big Brother fandom believed Rylie was too controlling of Katherine and failed to respect her boundaries inside the house. He criticized her strategy and even told her, “I’m being with you outside of here, whether you like it or not.”

Are Big Brother‘s Katherine and Rylie still together?

As of February 2026, it appears that Katherine and Rylie are no longer together. On February 1, Katherine posted a video with fellow houseguest Lauren Domingue, who recently split from Zach Cornell, implying that she is single. In the video, they lip-synced audio from Sex and the City that featured Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) saying, “We were the only single people in there,” and Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker) responding, “Miranda, we’re the only single people anywhere.” The duo then held hands and danced away. Katherine captioned the video, “‘Raise your hand if you care’ – Wendy Williams anyways celebrating my bday still in NYC #WOW #shocking.”

In the comments, fans were quick to write that both Katherine and Lauren were “free.” A fan wrote, “This is exactly what I wanted to hear from you Katherine let’s goooooooo,” another shared, “YESSS SHE GOT AWAY!!!! I know twitter is going crazy right now.” Watch their video below!

Did Katherine and Rylie date outside of Big Brother?

Yes, during the Big Brother Season 27 finale, Katherine and Rylie revealed they were dating. “We are together and having fun, just hanging out. [I] just visited him and it was great,” Katherine said while sitting next to her boyfriend. Rylie further confirmed, “It’s been nothing but a blessing and an honor.” He also gushed over how “beautiful” and “kind-hearted” Katherine is.

Given Katherine’s past comments, it didn’t seem like Katherine and Rylie had decided to make things official. Katherine was evicted one week after Rylie. “We have had an opportunity to talk to each other, more so just checking in with each other, seeing if we’re both doing okay,” Katherine told ScreenRant. “There was a lot of negativity surrounding, I think, the both of us with the situation, so, he gets it better than anyone else, really, that’s exited so far, because we were the two in the situation. So we’re just checking in for now.”

After their evictions, Rylie and Katherine didn’t publicly define their relationship to the world. “We haven’t really discussed anything like that so far,” Katherine said. “We’re just making sure that both of us are dealing with everything post-eviction in a good way. And just making sure that we’re trying to spend each day being happy. Because it can be … it’s hard leaving the house for sure.”

Katherine previously told TV Insider that she was hopeful about her future with Rylie. “I’m definitely going to see where things go and where life takes me. Rylie is a great person, and I’m excited to talk to him and also see him at some point. No matter what that looks like,” she said.

Katherine admitted to Global TV that Rylie was a “rock” for her inside the house. “It was really hard navigating him being gone—without him being there. I am just excited to be able to talk to him,” she noted.

Rylie spoke lovingly about his connection with Katherine in a post-eviction interview. “I wanted to protect and her game at all costs and see her go as far as she absolutely could in this game,” he told Parade. The 27-year-old also said that he cares about Katherine “deeply, and every emotion I showed came from a place of love.”

When asked about his “relationship” with Katherine moving forward, Rylie said, “I know who she is, and she knows who I am, and nothing would ever make me view her any differently. This experience has taught me a lot about communication and growth, and I’m taking that to heart moving forward.”

Following his eviction, Rylie addressed his questionable behavior toward Katherine. “I understand how things may have come across, but I speak with passion,” he told EW. “I love with my whole heart, and maybe that intensity was misunderstood. I would never intentionally disrespect anyone, especially Katherine. I respect her deeply, and she’s her own person, makes her own choices. I think some moments just don’t reflect who I truly am. My intentions have always come from a place of care and loyalty, not control.”

Another point of contention for fans was the subject of PDA between the two. Katherine stressed to Parade that she very much enjoyed kissing Rylie, and the reason why she didn’t want to sleep in the same bed as him most of the time was because she “didn’t want to bug other people in the house.” She noted, “I would have been near him all the time every day if I could.” Katherine declared that she “never felt uncomfortable or unhappy with anything” regarding Rylie.

Does Rylie have a baby?

Adding to the controversy, rumors circulated online that Rylie might be a father. A woman named Reagan has claimed Rylie is the father of her child and refuses to pay child support. His mother, Michelle, told TMZ that Reagan’s claim is “far from the truth” and that Rylie has “no reason to believe he’s the father.” She added that her son would be open to taking a paternity test to settle the matter.
