Food Network’s Katie Lee Biegel Reveals ‘Best Thing’ About Husband Ryan Biegel
Katie Lee Biegel’s life is so full of joy these days. From her latest Hallmark movie to cohosting The Kitchen to her family, the Food Network chef is happier than ever.
The 43-year-old recently celebrated her seventh wedding anniversary with husband Ryan Biegel. Their daughter, Iris, just turned five. Katie spoke with Swooon about how her husband makes her feel loved.
“Really and truly watching him be a dad is the best thing,” she gushed. “The other day, all three of us were laying around in bed. You know, [Iris] is going to bed, and he’s like making her laugh and tickling her, and I’m watching her face light up, and I thought, ‘This is what it’s all about. This is it.'”
When asked what she loves most about her love, Katie sweetly replied, “Everything.” However, she’s not the biggest fan of his current mustache. “My daughter thinks it’s hilarious, so he’s keeping it for her,” Katie said.
Katie revealed that her daughter has “gotten really into Jimmy Buffett” and even requested a Jimmy Buffett-themed birthday party. Apparently, the singer’s tune “Pencil Thin Mustache” inspired Ryan’s facial hair. The TV chef showed off photos from her daughter’s birthday and wrote on Instagram, “The last 5 years have been the happiest (and fastest) years of our lives.”
The Groundswell author hoped that Ryan’s anniversary gift to her would be shaving off the mustache. As of now, the mustache is still around!
Despite her busy schedule, Katie is already looking ahead at what’s next. A new book is likely on the horizon. “I do have any idea of something I’m mulling over and kind of working on. I just need to get better with my time management so that it happens.”
