At 38 years old, Novak Djokovic doesn’t seem to be slowing down. The tennis star has made it to the semifinals of the 2025 US Open, despite being more than a decade older than the other three remaining competitors.

Are Novak and Jelena Djokovic still together?
Yes, the Djokovics are still going strong. In fact, Jelena has been supporting her husband amid his latest US Open run. Earlier this week, she posted a video celebrating one of his wins. The clip featured the two dancing in the street to Bruno Mars‘ “Uptown Funk.”

Do Novak and Jelena Djokovic have kids?
Yes. The pair’s son, Stefan, was born in 2014, followed by daughter Tara in 2017. Although the kids have attended some of their dad’s public matches, Novak and Jelena try to keep them out of the spotlight.
In fact, when Jelena celebrated her birthday in 2025, she covered up her kids’ faces in an Instagram photo from the celebration. “The one where Jelena celebrates her birthday, and Tara makes her a cake 🥰❤️,” she wrote.

What does Jelena Djokovic do for a living?
Jelena works as the CEO of her and her husband’s charity the Novak Djokovic Foundation. The organization is focused on early childhood education and works “to enable every child in Serbia to attend early years programs.”
The couple founded the organization in 2007. Prior to taking on this role, Jelena temporarily worked at an oil company in Monte Carlo. She attended Bocconi University in Milan for university.
How did Jelena and Novak Djokovic meet?
Novak and his wife are high school sweethearts. They both attended the same high school in Serbia and were both playing tennis when they got together. When Novak proposed in 2013, the two had already been dating for eight years.
Throughout Jelena’s college years, she and Novak dated long distance. “I was a student barely getting by, and he was a very young tennis player who also had no money to spare on expensive trips,” she once told Hello! “Airplanes were, at the time, something utterly out of our reach. We contrived and devised these plans on how to meet, how to make our relationship work.”
