‘White Lotus’ Star Patrick Schwarzenegger Marries Abby Champion in Surprise Wedding
Meet the new Mr. and Mrs. Schwarzenegger! The White Lotus star Patrick Schwarzenegger has married his fiancée, Abby Champion. The couple tied the knot on September 6, People reports.
The actor popped the question to his longtime girlfriend back in 2023. The newlyweds met in 2015. Ten years later, they’re married!
Schwarzenegger and his fashion model bride said “I do” in a small Idaho wedding overlooking Lake Coeur d’Alene. The groom wore a white tuxedo, while the bride stunned in a classic high-neck gown.
The nuptials were an intimate affair with just a handful of guests but plenty of familiar faces.
The Gen V star’s parents, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver, were in attendance, as were his older sister, Katherine Schwarzenegger, and her husband, Chris Pratt. Longtime family friend Rob Lowe was there as well. Jason Isaacs, who played Schwarzenegger’s father in the latest season of The White Lotus, was among the guests.
The American Sports Story star opened up about planning his wedding back in 2024. “As I’ve learned, the role is just to make sure that she’s happy, just whatever she wants to do,” he told GQ. “I’m happy to give my opinion on things, and otherwise I’m just there to support her and make it so that she has the best day that she wants. That’s really my job.”
Schwarzenegger and Champion had an interesting meet-cute. “We met through a mutual friend who I was on a date with and Patrick knew,” Champion told The Daily Front Row. “We’re thankful for him because he introduced us and that led to us getting married. He swooped in!” The actor added, “We were all meeting for drinks in a big group and hit it off and the rest is history.”
The couple tied the knot just one week before the 2025 Primetime Emmys. Schwarzenegger is expected to be in attendance to celebrate The White Lotus Season 3’s 23 nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series. Costars Isaacs, Parker Posey, Carrie Coon, Walton Goggins, Aimee Lou Wood, Sam Rockwell, and Natasha Rothwell scored acting nominations.
