Debby Ryan Is Pregnant! Disney Channel Alum Expecting First Child With Josh Dun
Just wait until the president of Disney Channel hears this! Debby Ryan surprised everyone by announcing her pregnancy on September 7.
The Jessie alum and her husband, Twenty One Pilots musician Josh Dun, posted a series of photos that showed off her baby bump. “Dun&dun +one,” the couple captioned the Instagram post. Ryan didn’t reveal her due date or her baby’s gender in the joint announcement.
Ryan’s famous friends quickly sent their love in the comments section. “GAHHHH! Congratulations,” AnnaSophia Robb wrote. Emily in Paris star Ashley Park commented, “Ahhhhhhh couldn’t be happier for you guys.” Tommy Dorfman wrote, “INCREDIBLE.”
The couple started dating in 2013. Ryan and Dun got married on December 31, 2019, in Austin, Texas. While they frequently travel for Dun’s concerts, their home base is in Columbus, Ohio. After celebrating the holidays with Dun’s family in Arch City, the couple decided to move to Columbus.
“I remember walking through the house and feeling like there was so much room to put our personalities into it,” Dun told Architectural Digest about their home. “Not only was this the first house that we designed together, but it was really the first time that both of us felt the freedom to put our mark on a place.”
“We’ve evolved and grown so much in our careers, in the relationship, as people since we first met,” she told The Sydney Morning Herald in 2018. “It’s cool and special to have that support system and we are each other’s biggest fans.”
Ryan and Dun recently celebrated their last birthdays before becoming parents. In May, Dun penned a sweet note in honor of Ryan’s 32nd birthday. “Debby’s birthday is one of my favorite holidays. She’s the coolest girl. Constantly making my life better, easier and more fun on the road and at home. Truly thankful for you debby i love you,” Dun wrote on Instagram.
When Dun turned 37 just a few weeks later in June, the Insatiable star shared a carousel of photos and wrote, “Surprise. he keeps getting better. Happy birthday joshua.”
