While 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way stars Luke Berry and Madelein Perez finally made it to their wedding day during the regular season finale, the couple took the Tell All stage with anything but honeymoon bliss. Now, fans are questioning whether the couple has separated or even begun divorce proceedings.
Fans may remember watching 30-year-old Luke Berry fall for his Colombian vacation fling, 19-year-old Madelein Perez, during Season 4 of 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise back in 2024. The Other Way marks their second 90 Day show. This season, fans watched as Luke and Madelein prepared to walk down the aisle to officially join their lives (and business ventures!) together. However, it’s clear that everything changed for the couple between the time that they filmed the season and its reunion.

Are Luke and Madelein from 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way still together?
It’s currently unclear whether Luke and Madelein are still together, but it’s not looking good. We’ll have to wait until the Tell All Part 2 for official confirmation, but it does seem that their relationship is not without its complications. Apparently, Luke slid into costar Chloe’s DMs ahead of the cast reunion!
At the start of the season, Luke and Madelein revealed that they had been engaged for about a year. Once Luke moved to Colombia to be with Madelein, they only had three weeks before the big day. Throughout their time together, Luke and Madelein faced a shocking pregnancy scare, a disagreement over who would own the properties in their joint real estate venture, and more. However, the couple appeared to have made it to the other side even stronger than before.
Since we last saw Luke and Madelein during 90 Day Fiancé: Love in Paradise Season 4, Madelein has taken up pageantry. She revealed, “I’ve been in two pageants, and in the second one, I win!” She continued, “My biggest motivation is to show the world that beautiful [women], we have brains, and we deserve to be treated like the queens we are.”
What did Luke and Madelein reveal at the Tell All?
So far, Luke has revealed that he no longer lives in Colombia. He also told viewers that he is no longer wearing his ring. While we don’t know where Luke and Madelein stand yet, and he could just be in the States while he applies for her K-1 Visa, Madelein is clearly suspicious about Luke’s connection with Chloe.
Did Luke and Madelein get married?
Yes, at the end of The Other Way Season 7 finale, Luke and Madelein officially tied the knot. Madelein made a grand entrance at the ceremony, flying in on a helicopter. She walked down the aisle in a bedazzled dress with a detachable princess skirt, which came off during the reception.
At the end of the aisle, Luke teared up. He later told viewers, “As I’m standing up there, all I can feel is happiness, and all of my problems, all of the fights, all of the hardships that we’ve endured just floated away. I never saw someone so beautiful. I was just overwhelmed, and I was so happy to see her, and it was amazing.”
How did Luke and Madelein meet?
Luke revealed during Episode 1 of 90 Day Fiancé: The Other Way that he met Madelein on a boys’ trip to Madelein’s hometown of Medellín, Colombia. He shared, “We picked Medellín because we’ve been told they have the hottest girls there. My buddies and I downloaded a couple dating apps, and I met Madelein literally Day 1.” Less than a week later, he professed his love, and they started a long-distance relationship.
The 90 Day star also confessed, “After three whole months, I tattooed her name next to my penis. I’m not the biggest tattoo person, but I wanted her to know that I was serious and she was the one.”

When did Luke and Madelein get engaged?
On June 8, 2023, nine months after they met, Luke posted a video of himself proposing to Madelein in front of a massive sign reading “Marry Me” at the end of an aisle of people who we can assume are close family and friends. A year later, he posted, “We have spent 23 months together where you are my first thought when I wake up and my last thought when I go to bed. I’m so grateful to have found a lifelong partner, lover, and best friend.”
He continued, “Happy anniversary, baby! You are my light at the end of the tunnel, my North Star, and my finest treasure. I love you to the moon and back and could not imagine my life without you in it. I can’t wait for what the future has in store for us. I will celebrate every day I have you by my side and am happy for the months and years to come.”
When did Luke move to Colombia?
In the Season 7 premiere of The Other Way, Luke said it had been a year since they got engaged. As he put it, “Madelein is sick of the long distance. She’s fed up with waiting. She’s fed up with my excuses. And basically, she said you need to move to Colombia so that we can be together, or else.” While their marriage would allow him to be a permanent resident in Colombia, he revealed during the Tell All that he had returned to the States.
