‘Match Me Abroad’ Preview: Monica Makes Shocking Confession After Choosing Bruno (VIDEO)

In the September 14 episode of Season 2, Monica was caught in a juicy predicament, as she found herself caught in a love triangle between local hunks Bruno and Bernardo, and encouraged by her local matchmaker to make her final choice in front of them both. Needless to say, now that Monica has picked the guy she wants to pursue a relationship with, things are about to get even messier.
Swooon has an exclusive preview of the September 14 episode that features Monica sitting down with Bruno, the kind-hearted man she chose during the previous episode. However, instead of a happy honeymoon stage couple like viewers expected, it appears that Monica is breaking things off with Bruno before they’ve even really gotten started.

Bruno states, “I’m ready to know you better. But you don’t… You don’t want to try or wait.” With her hands to her temples, contemplating the weight of the situation, Monica reveals, “I guess the other thing, the other thing is that I, I care a lot about Bernardo.”
Confused by Monica’s connection with the season’s Brazilian bad boy, Bruno asks if Monica likes Bernardo more than she likes him. Stepping into Monica’s shoes, he tells her, “No, I don’t want Bruno. He’s perfect. But I want the wrong guy.”
Realizing that she should have chosen Bernardo when she was confronted by her matchmaker in front of the two men, Monica admits, ” You’re right. I should have done that. I’m trying to be honest with you now.”
