‘Jersey Shore’: Who Is Shore Store Owner Danny Merk’s Partner? Inside His Relationship & Family
Danny Merk has been a staple on Jersey Shore since the show first premiered in 2009. The fans know him as the cast’s boss, as he’s the owner of the iconic Shore Store on the Seaside Heights boardwalk.
During the show’s original run, Merk was heavily featured during the four seasons that took place in Seaside. On Jersey Shore: Family Vacation, his cameos are few and far between, but he’s been part of the end of Season 8 while the group has been celebrating their 15-year anniversary.
The cast returned to their house in Seaside for the occasion, and Merk helped them throw a party at one of his stores to celebrate. During the September 11 finale, viewers will get to see what went down inside the bash, which was heavily documented on social media at the time. Who is Shannon Corbley?
Corbley is Merk’s longtime girlfriend. They do not appear to be married, as there is no record of a wedding, and neither of them has posted about getting married on social media.
According to public records, Corbley is 33 years old and from Toms River, New Jersey, which makes her much younger than Merk, who’s reported to be born in December 1968 (making him 56 years old). Corbley celebrated her 30th birthday on Instagram in June 2022, which means she did turn 33 in June 2025.
It’s unclear exactly when they met or started dating, but Corbley first went public with their romance on Instagram in February 2019. “Happy birthday to the best man I know. I love you 💙🎂,” she wrote.

The two had seemingly already been together for a bit of time at that point, as she announced her pregnancy with their first child the previous month.
Does Danny Merk have kids?
Yes, Merk and Corbley are parents to three children. Their first son, Wyatt, was born in May 2019. “Our boy is FINALLY here🥰🧸💙it’s been such a magically journey I wouldn’t trade it for the world! I can’t wait to see what the future has in store for our family,” Corbley wrote on Instagram to announce his birth.

In January 2021, the couple welcomed a second son, Maverick. Their third son, Phoenix, was born on Father’s Day in June 2024. They also got a dog, Duke, in December 2023. All three boys’ initials, as well as Duke’s name, are mentioned in Corbley’s Instagram bio.
Merk also appears to have a son from a previous relationship. A boy named Brody is featured in many of Corbley’s family photos on Instagram, and she wished him a happy birthday on the social media site in 2020.
“Happy 7th Birthday Brody🎂🏎 and Father’s Day to the best daddy in the whole world 🌎🤍🤍 we love you so much !! Don’t know what I’d do with out you,” she wrote. Merk was previously married to a woman named Tanya.
