Who is Andy Richter’s wife?
Richter’s wife, Jennifer Herrera, is a talent agent and the founder of the Los Angeles and United Kingdom-based agency, Las Bandas Be Brave. According to the company’s website, “Jen is Las Bandas Be Brave’s Head Creative Producer, Talent Agent and EP with history and experience across the music, advertising and entertainment industry for the past 24 years.” She is also a mother, with a kindergartener named Cornelia.

How did Andy Richter and Jennifer Herrera meet?
Richter revealed on Jesse Tyler Ferguson‘s podcast Dinner’s on Me that he met Herrera on a dating app. He shared, “We met on Hinge. We met online. It was my first real experience, uh, doing that.” He also admitted that he had tried out the celebrity dating app, Raya, after being recommended by fellow comedian Nikki Glaser. While Raya was not his vibe — he said he “just felt like I’m an old shoe” — Hinge ended up working out for the actor far faster than it does for most. After their first date, Richter and Herrera started spending a lot of time together. He told Ferguson, “And then I just started hanging out at her house, and I met her daughter, and I started finding myself driving home feeling very, very happy.”
When did Andy Richter and Jennifer Herrera get married?
Richter and Herrera got married at an intimate home wedding in 2023. According to the comedian, O’Brien ended up officiating the wedding when their officiant had to back out at the last minute. Richter told People, “I knew he had done it [before] because he married our wardrobe designer on our show, so I asked him to do it and he did it!”
On Election Day in 2022, Richter debuted their engagement, posting, “Some non-election news: I got engaged! To a lady! Her name is Jennifer Herrera, and she’s the best. We’ve been together since the beginning of the year, and we’re getting married next summer. Hooray love!”
Who was Andy Richter married to before Jennifer Herrera?
Richter was previously married to Sarah Thyre, an actress and author who played Coach Cherri Wolf on the television show Strangers with Candy. The couple got married back in 1994 and were together for 25 years before their divorce in 2019. Announcing their divorce via tweet, Richter shared, “It is with sadness that Sarah and I announce that we have separated and have begun divorce proceedings. We are extremely proud of the life we’ve built together and shared with so many friends over the years, and even though our marriage has reached its completion, we will always maintain a loving friendship and parenting partnership.” The exes share two kids, William, born in 2000, and Mercy, born in 2005.
