Cardi B is adding another kid to the mix and expanding her family! The rapper, who already has multiple children with ex Offset, announced that she is pregnant during an interview with Gayle King on CBS Mornings on Wednesday, September 17.
“I’m happy,” Cardi, who will release her new album Am I the Drama? on September 19, gushed. “I feel like I’m in a good space. How many kids does Cardi B have?
Cardi has three kids and is currently pregnant with her fourth.
Her first child, daughter Kulture, was born in July 2018, followed by a son, Wave, in September 2021. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper’s third baby, daughter Blossom, arrived in September 2024. Now, she’s expecting her fourth child, although the gender and due date are not known at this time.
Who are the fathers of Cardi B’s babies?
Cardi shares her first three kids with ex Offset, whom she secretly married in 2017 and filed for divorce from in July 2024. The two were on-and-off for the entirety of their relationship. Offset also has two sons (Jordan and Kody) and a daughter (Kalea) from previous relationships.
The father of Cardi’s fourth child is Stefon Diggs, whom she was first linked to in October 2024, shortly after she gave birth to Blossom. Stefon has a daughter named Nova, born in 2016, from a previous relationship.
Are Cardi B and Offset divorced?
Cardi and Offset’s divorce does not appear to be final. Her rep confirmed on August 1, 2024, that she had filed to end the marriage.
“This is not based on one particular incident,” the publicist confirmed, referring to allegations of cheating that surrounded Offset at the time of the split. “It has been a long time coming.” Cardi had previously filed for divorce in September 2020.
Just hours after the divorce news broke, Cardi took to Instagram to reveal she was pregnant with her and Offset’s third child. “With every ending comes a new beginning!” she wrote. “I am so grateful to have shared this season with you, you have brought me more love, more life and most of all renewed my power! Reminded me that I can have it all! You’ve reminded me that I never have to choose between life, love, and my passion!”
She continued, “I love you so much and can not wait for you to witness what you helped me accomplish, what you pushed me to do! It’s so much easier taking life’s twists, turns and test laying down, but you, your brother and your sister have shown me why it’s worth it to push through!”
Are Cardi B and Stefon Diggs still together?
Yes, Cardi and Diggs are still together and are excited to welcome their little one. She started dating the New England Patriots wide receiver after being introduced by mutual friends.
“I thought he was cute. I was like, ‘Oh, he gotta be mine,'” Cardi shared on a September episode of Today With Jenna & Friends. Although the two were first linked in 2024, they kept things fairly private for several months. In May, they made their first public appearance together at a Knicks game, and the following month, they went Instagram official in a now-deleted post.
The two are not engaged just yet, but Cardi confirmed to Jenna Bush Hager that marriage isn’t out of the question in her future. “I would get married again,” she said. “I believe in love. I’m a hopeless romantic.”
