‘Golden Bachelor’ Preview: Shirtless Mel Owens Has a Steamy Makeout Session on the Beach (VIDEO)
Mel Owens is heating things up on Season 2 of The Golden Bachelor! With the show less than a week away, Swooon has an exclusive preview of what’s to come — and it’s definitely going to be steamy.
In the sneak peek, Mel is seen shirtless several times as he interacts with the women, even getting down and dirty in the sand to make out with one of the lucky ladies.
“These are the most extraordinary women I’ve met,” he gushes. “If this is how it’s going to be, then it’s going to be great.”
In one shot, Mel holds hands with some of the women as they all jump in a pool fully clothed. A bunch of the cast is also seen in their swimsuits hanging out by the pool at the mansion.

“We’re going to give Mel a run for his money!” one of the Golden ladies teases, while another adds, “Us Goldens have got it together.”
In between the clip of the former NFL star and one of his ladies kissing on the shoreline of a beach, he’s seemingly flustered, as he tells the camera, “I’m blown away. Unbelievable.”
All 23 Golden Bachelor Season 2 contestants were revealed ahead of the September 24 premiere. One cast member, Andra, is the twin sister of Season 1 contestant Sandra Mason. During a controversial podcast appearance in June, Mel said he only wanted to date ladies who were between the ages of 45 and 60. He later confirmed that he apologized to the women on the first night of filming. (For the record, only three women in the cast are 60 or younger).
Mel explained that he hadn’t dated in “26, 27 years,” so 45 to 60 was the range he said he was familiar with. The lawyer was previously married for 17 years to Fabiana Owens, whom he shares two children with, Lucas and Andre.
