‘Pioneer Woman’s Ree Drummond Makes Surprising Deal With Husband Ladd for 30th Anniversary
The Pioneer Woman star Ree Drummond and her husband, Ladd Drummond, celebrated their 29th anniversary on September 21. In a new anniversary message, Ree revealed the deal she’s made with her longtime love when they celebrate 30 years of marriage next year.
The Food Network star also shared a rare black and white photo from her wedding day in 1996. Ree looked gorgeous in a classic wedding gown alongside Ladd, who sported a suit. They sweetly held hands and smiled for the camera.
“It’s just our 29th, so we aren’t too worked up that we’re in separate states today 🤓…but God willing and the creek don’t rise, we’ll be somewhere in Europe for our 30th,” Ree’s Instagram message began. “We had to shake on it recently, because we know our homebody selves too well and something always comes up. (Where should we go?) BTW, swipe right to see us as babies. If those two kids only knew what was ahead… ❤️👶🐮🤪🌩️🐶🌪️😍🎥🐴🤠… Happy anniversary Honey (and thank you to Earth, Wind, and Fire, too. 😊) WHAT A RIDE, MAN!!!”
Ree and Ladd’s eldest daughter, Alex Drummond Scott, commented, “Happy anni!!!! From your honeymoon baby.” Their second daughter, Paige Drummond, who recently got married to David Andersen, wrote, “Happy anni!! Love you guys so much.” Paige honored her mom on her wedding day by choosing a drop-waist style gown that was similar to her mom’s dress.
The couple had a romantic meet-cute three decades ago. They first crossed paths at a dive bar, and the rest is history! For her 28th wedding anniversary in 2024, Ree gushed she was “so grateful” they were able to find each other. “It has been an adventure, a roller coaster, a journey, an odyssey, and a blast. Not to mention fast!” she wrote.
After marrying in 1996, Ree and Ladd welcomed five kids: Alex, Paige, Bryce, Jamar, and Todd.
