With the arrival of baby Livvy, Arie and Lauren are now parents to four children. Their first child, daughter Alessi, was born in May 2019, just four months after Arie and Lauren tied the knot. The couple’s twins, daughter Sienna and son Lux, were born in June 2021.

Did Arie Luyendyk have a vasectomy?
Yes, after the birth of the twins, Arie had a vasectomy in 2022. However, in February, he revealed that he had the procedure reversed when he realized he was ready for another baby with his wife (the reversal took place during summer 2024, though the pair held off on sharing the news with fans for several months).
During the time between the reversal procedure and the pregnancy announcement in March, Lauren and Arie went through a lot in their journey to conceive again. “We tried and tried, and we were unsuccessful for a little bit, and then we had a chemical pregnancy,” Lauren shared. “I’ve never had a chemical pregnancy before, so I thought that was it. Like we were actually pregnant.”
A chemical pregnancy is an early miscarriage that takes place before the five-week mark.

Arie and Lauren have about a 10-year age gap. She was born on November 20, 1991, while he was born on September 18, 1981.
When Alessi was born, Lauren was 27 and Arie was 37. Lauren was 29 when she gave birth to the twins, and Arie was 39 at the time. Livvy was born on Arie’s 44th birthday, and Lauren was 33 when they were born.
