Dancing With the Stars pro Rylee Arnold is hoping she and her Season 34 celebrity partner, singer Scott Hoying of Pentatonix, continue to build on the momentum they’re making in the dance competition reality series.

After scoring 5s in Week 1, they upped their scores to all 6s in Week 2. The cameras cut to Hoying’s friends and family in the studio audience after his and Arnold’s routine was over. It turns out, Arnold had a special someone in the audience this week, too – her boyfriend, USC football tight end, Walker Lyons!

Even on weeks that Lyons isn’t in the audience, he’s close to Arnold’s heart. He recently gifted her with a “W” necklace. “He gave it to me a few weeks ago,” Arnold shared with a smile after the September 23 episode. “It’s my good luck charm.” Arnold plans on wearing the treasured necklace every week.

While Arnold is focused on ensuring Hoying’s experience is the most it can be, Swooon asked her if she’d ever like to have Lyons as a celebrity partner on DWTS in the future. “Absolutely,” she responded with enthusiasm. “If he ever wants to do this show, please count me in.”

Naturally, Arnold would want to be paired with Lyons as her celebrity partner.

“Watch them not pair him with you,” Hoying chuckled. “There’s no other option,” Arnold laughed.

The pro dancer believes that she and Lyons would be a great fit, physically. She’s 5’7″ and he’s 6’4″. “He’s super big and super tall,” she said. “It was great having him here tonight. He came over to me right after the show.”

DWTS has invited many professional football players onto the show over the years. Arnold said her beau’s goal is to turn pro someday. “He’s in his sophomore year, and he’s had two touchdowns already this season,” she proudly shared. “He’s been really successful!”

Fortunately, Arnold had a handle on Lyons’ favorite sport before she even met him. “My dad was a football coach, so he made sure all his girls knew about football,” Arnold said with a smile.
