However, fans began to speculate that she was hinting at the end of their relationship after she made a cryptic Instagram post on November 13. She posted four photographs with Shawn (without tagging him), writing, “I’m not someone who forces things. I’ve always been and will always be completely transparent and true to myself.” She continued, “I could simply stay here posting beautiful things and happy moments, but reality is full of challenges, and many of you have witnessed them along the way. Today, I just felt like sharing a few moments here.”
“When I think about them, I think with affection. I think of friendship, of partnership in life, and of a love that has been redefined over time, a love that became more conscious, more mature, and full of admiration,” she explained. “Five years can definitely be considered a part of a lifetime, at least for me. Sometimes I’m amazed by how much I’ve learned to ‘read’ you. Just one look, a small movement, or even the rhythm of your breathing is enough for me to know when something’s going on. That kind of connection, to me, is essential in any relationship.”
She concluded her statement by writing, “I’m grateful for life and for the story we built. That’s what I hold on to. In my heart, there’s no room for resentment, bitterness, or anything heavy, only love, learning, and respect.” For some readers, her caption caused concern. Multiple followers started to question the status of their relationship, with one writing, “Are you divorced 😢 ?”

Leading up to Alliya’s November 13 post, the couple rarely posted on social media together. On September 5, Alliya celebrated her birthday on Instagram. In the comments, she received a message from Shawn stating, “Happy Birthday, My Girl from Rio!!!! Hoping all your dreams come true!!! ❤️❤️❤️” In response, she replied, “Thank you, Darling ❤️.” It also appears that they still live together, as Alliya frequently posts at Shawn’s house.
Did Shawn and Alliya ever go on their honeymoon?
During the 90 Day Fiancé Season 11 Tell All, producers revealed that Shawn went on a honeymoon without Alliya. According to Alliya, Shawn left her for a month to go to the Dominican Republic because he was mad at her about the unfavorable way their wedding went down. At the time, Shawn also confessed that he had been intimate with other people as their open marriage allowed, while Alliya had not.

During the Season 11 Tell All, Alliya shared that she and Shawn remained happily married. However, she made it clear that their relationship is not her “dream.” In that vein, Shawn shared that “the only constant in [their] relationship is change.” Reflecting on the change in her life, Alliya confessed: “I’m changing. My body’s changing. I don’t feel attracted, wanted. My love language is physical touch, and I really don’t have that.” They later confessed that they had opened their relationship so that they could be intimate with other people.
After that, their updates became more sparse. On their anniversary, Alliya wrote a sweet message to Shawn, stating, “Another year with you. So many changes, so many stories.
