Catch Up on All Things Jordan Keltner Ahead of the ‘Love Is Blind’ Season 9 Reunion

[Warning: The following contains MAJOR spoilers from Love Is Blind Season 9.]

Season 9 of Love Is Blind had its fair share of memorable guys, but one contestant stood out from the crowd: Jordan Keltner. Jordan wasn’t just another face in the pods. The single dad with sleeves of tattoos, an easy grin, and what Taylor Swift imagined when she sang “a tattooed golden retriever” became one of the most relatable contestants of the season. (He still needs to explain that chicken smoothie, though.)

The 30-year-old wore his heart on his sleeve (literally and emotionally) throughout Season 9. Jordan didn’t make it all the way to the altar with Megan Walerius at the end of Season 9, but one thing remains clear: Jordan stole the Love Is Blind spotlight from all the other guys.

Heading into the reunion, Swooon is giving you a full refresher on all things Jordan. Here’s everything you need to know about Jordan, his son, his relationship status, and more.

Does Jordan have a child?

Yes, and it was a huge part of his story on the Netflix series. From the very first episode, Jordan shared that one of the main reasons he signed up for Love Is Blind was the difficulty of dating as a single dad. It was something he brought up quickly with his matches, who all seemed to take the news in stride. Megan was admittedly a little surprised when he casually mentioned his vasectomy.

Jordan’s son, Luca, was four years old at the time of filming. Jordan even brought a photo of his son to the pods and proudly showed it to his new fiancée at the reveal.

One of the most heartfelt moments came when Jordan opened up about Luca being born with diabetes and how they’ve navigated his diagnosis. This became an especially emotional connection point for Sparkle Megan, who lost her father to diabetes-related complications.

From the beginning of the season, Jordan made it clear that the decision to leave his son off-screen rests with Luca’s mom — and honestly, we respect that boundary. “I wasn’t gonna do anything that was gonna jeopardize our coparenting relationship,” he told Swooon.

Jordan and Megan both opened up to Swooon about the first time Megan met Luca. “Luca is just a little angel… He’s just exactly how Jordan described him,” Megan said. Jordan remembered that Megan spent the night at his apartment a few times so they could spend more time with Luca. Having that quality time made Jordan realize, “Oh, this is what I want. This is why I went on [Love Is Blind].”

During the finale and after his breakup, Jordan admitted that he regretted introducing Megan to Luca. We’ll be interested to see if that sentiment holds true during the finale, especially now that fans have theorized that Jordan isn’t the only parent in the cast anymore.

Where does Jordan live?

Jordan hasn’t shared his exact address (thankfully, reality TV hasn’t gone that far yet), but all Love Is Blind contestants this season are based in Denver, Colorado. He even features Denver in his Instagram bio, so it’s safe to say that’s his home base. Throughout the season, Jordan made it clear that he lives in a small apartment filled with toys for his son.

What does Jordan do for a living?

By day, Jordan works as a service manager, though he hasn’t revealed too many details about that role on the show. But that’s not his only gig. Jordan is also an author of children’s books, inspired by his son, Luca.

Through his brand, Luca’s Brand, Jordan writes heartfelt Dear Luca stories designed to spark meaningful conversations with kids. Even better, the company donates $1 from every book sold to support children living with Type 1 Diabetes, a cause close to Jordan’s heart since Luca was born with the condition.

He’s also an avid supporter of Life For a Child, an organization that helps provide life-saving diabetes care around the world. In short: Jordan isn’t just looking for love in the pods, he’s out here trying to make the world a little brighter for kids, too.

It appears that Jordan will also address Mike Brockway’s controversial comments about diabetes during the reunion. In a preview clip, Jordan revealed that Mike (who was not present at the reunion) privately reached out to him, apologizing and taking accountability for what he said in the pods. In the comments, Mike wrote, “Jordan you’re a gentleman and a scholar 🙏🏽.”

Who was Jordan dating in the pods?

Jordan previously told Swooon that he ended up joining the show because of… Tinder. “I was just casually dating on the dating apps. I met this young lady on Tinder. On the first date, she brought it up,” he recalled. Jordan applied to the show, and Love Is Blind casting reached out to him the next day.

In a season overflowing with love triangles, Jordan’s approach was refreshingly straightforward: he zoned in on Sparkle Megan early on. The single dad wanted some of those sparkles! Their conversations ranged from deep (bonding over supporting loved ones with diabetes) to flirty (Megan suspecting he had BDE) to surprisingly practical (discussing his vasectomy and whether it could be reversed).

Still, even with his focus on Megan, Jordan inevitably landed in the season’s first love square, competing with Blake Anderson and Mike for her heart. Once Blake left, it came down to Jordan versus Mike, and in the end, Megan chose Jordan over Mike.

Did Jordan get engaged in the pods?

Yes! Jordan and Megan’s engagement was one of the final ones we saw before all of the couples jetted off to Mexico. After a long pod-courtship, his proposal felt like it came a little out of nowhere, but Megan was all in, laughing and crying as she said yes.

The reveal moment only confirmed their chemistry: Jordan beaming, Megan glowing, and both clearly thrilled to be taking the next step. They headed to Mexico as one of the season’s most promising couples.

Did Jordan and Megan get married?

Unfortunately, Sparkle Megan called things off with Jordan before they could make it to the altar. Looking back at their split, Jordan revealed to Swooon that he would have said “I do” if given the chance; however, he explained, “Well, I don’t want to marry someone that doesn’t want to marry me.” After they officially split, Jordan had to explain to Luca, “You’re probably not going to see Megan again.” Jordan explained that while Luca took it really well, “It sucks we put him through that. That’s one of my biggest regrets about the whole experiment.” He later added, “I won’t be introducing him to anyone anytime soon, for sure.”
