Since it returned for Season 9, we can’t stop thinking about Love Is Blind. A few cast members have stood out, from “Sparkle” Megan Walerius to single dad Jordan Keltner, but Edmond Harvey might take the cake for having the most energetic personality in the bunch.
The breakout star apparently knows that he can be “a lot,” according to Tudum. “When I go out with friends and it’s poppin’, I’m just in the moment, having the greatest time — but I could see how that could possibly get on my partner’s nerves,” he said.

Who is Edmond Harvey?
Edmond is a 29-year-old, and like the rest of the cast, he lives in Denver. In the show, he talked about his biggest passion: rollerblading. He notes that he’d never be willing to give up rollerblading for a girl. Edmond moved to Colorado after earning his master’s degree.
Did Edmond grow up in foster care?
Yes, the West Virginia native opened up in Season 9 about his time in the foster care system. He had to stay with “random families” when his parents didn’t have custody of him and his brothers. When he was in foster care, Edmond said he was often separated from his brothers.
Despite his difficult upbringing, he has a solid relationship with his parents today. “I talk to them regularly. I love them so much,” he said.
What does Edmond do for a living?
Though he earned both of his degrees in Criminal Justice and Corrections, Edmond now works in real estate. His LinkedIn profile reveals that he got his start in the field while he went to college in West Virginia. After graduating in 2019 from Fairmont State University, he continued his career in real estate in Colorado. Edmond said in the pods that he hopes to get into education one day after being inspired by a teacher during childhood.

Edmond also revealed in the pods that he once played football. Not only that, but he played at the collegiate level for Fairmont State University, which is based in Charleston, West Virginia. As a defensive player, he didn’t see action during his freshman and sophomore seasons, but he played during the 2017 season.

Viewers only saw Edmond interact with Kalybriah Haskin in the pods. He and the independent travel social worker bonded quickly and opened up about their life experiences. “When it comes to Edmond, I truly feel safe,” Kalybriah said of her match. “I feel vulnerable. It feels like I’ve known this man forever.”

Did Edmond get engaged in the pods?
Yes, Edmond and Kalybriah got engaged in Episode 3. It seemed to be smooth sailing for the couple until the end of Episode 6. In Baja, Mexico, with the rest of the couples, they had their first argument when Kalybriah asked what Edmond would do if a buff guy hit on her. Edmond said that he wouldn’t react since he’s not a confrontational person.
Then, at a pool party with the rest of their castmates, Edmond revealed that he and Kalybriah hadn’t had sex yet. Kalybriah later explained that she wanted to wait for the sake of their relationship. Edmond, who was eventually driven to tears, responded that he was “more locked in emotionally” compared to her. The argument dropped off, so we’ll have to wait and see if their relationship makes it in future episodes.
