‘DWTS’: Does Robert Irwin Have Any Dating Prospects in His DMs? Witney Carson Spills

Robert Irwin‘s DMs have been flooded with ladies lusting after him ever since he made his debut on Dancing With the Stars in September. Even his pro dance partner, Witney Carson, said her own DMs are blowing up with messages about the eligible bachelor. By the way, he is single.
But have they been able to weed out any actual prospects? Swooon caught up with Carson, and she weighed in on the situation.
“We are really just focused on dance,” Carson explained. “It’s very overwhelming for me. What started out as a joke has now become very serious, and I’m like … I cannot have this responsibility of his love life! We need to just focus. I need to put this in the hands of ABC. I need to just give that over. Part of me is like, as a big sister, ‘I’ll handle it,’ but it’s also just very overwhelming to me, like, as a big sister, I’m like, I’ll handle it, but it’s also just very overwhelming. We’ll work on the dancing for now.”
So, it looks like there’s no intention of setting Irwin up with anybody while the dance competition is in progress.
Carson previously opened up about the love Irwin is getting by writing on her Instagram Story, “Girls I love ya, thank you for the applications through somehow my email and flooding the dms. If I could line you all up with Robert I would because you’re all 10/10 perfect cuties. We are currently dancing our lives away so we are unable to respond.”
The 21-year-old has quickly emerged as a frontrunner to win this season, topping the leaderboard during the first two weeks of competition. During Week 3, he dropped down a bit but is still towards the head of the pack.
Aside from just the impressive judges’ scores he’s earned, Irwin has connected with the audience on a spectacular level, which is just as important.
“This show isn’t just about dance,” Carson points out. “It’s really about who you fall in love with as a person. There’s so many layers to it.” Referring to Lauren Jauregui‘s unexpected elimination in Week 3, Carson adds, “I think for me, I understand it. I’m shocked, but I understand it at the same time. Andy [Richter] is so lovable and people really wanted to pull for him. I think it’s great if he has this opportunity. People have to remember it’s more than just a dance show.”
