Alix Earle Reveals She & Boyfriend Braxton Berrios Discussed Doing ‘DWTS’ Together
Influencer Alix Earle has the support of her boyfriend, Braxton Berrios, as she competes this season on Dancing With the Stars, even though he’s not there in person to cheer her on – at least not yet!
Earle has earned high scores from the judges early on for her dancing skills, but could Earle see her athletic beau compete on the reality dance competition series as so many other professional athletes have done? The couple has had a conversation about it!
“I could definitely see him doing this show,” she told Swooon on the Dancing With the Stars post-show press line. “We had talked about that before. We [discussed] what if we did the show at the same time? But then, I was like, you know what? I wouldn’t do that because I know he would be really good, and I don’t want to go up against that competition.”
Berrios is a bit busy this fall with his professional football schedule with the Houston Texans, the team on which he plays tight end. Swooon asked Earle if he’s been able to attend any of the show’s tapings yet. “He hasn’t, and I’m not sure that he will with his schedule,” Earle responded. “It just hasn’t ended up aligning,” she lamented.
The Houston Texans are set to play against the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday, October 5. Then, they don’t have another game until Monday, October 20, when they take on the Seattle Seahawks.
“[Braxton] is going to be able to come out here for his birthday, [October 6], so he will be out here next week,” Earle said with a smile. “He’s been rallying everyone in Texas to vote, so that’s been great.”
Earle said that her beau has been very encouraging during her quest to win the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy. “He’s been so supportive,” she said warmly. “It’s nice to talk to him at night. He’s always very supportive, so it’s nice to have him in my corner.”
